I just came across Benjamin .. His explanation of everything is sooo easy to understand and put into practice! He is amazing! I'm so sick of other spiritual guru's who talk in riddles and never give solutions to real promblems. Thank you Benjamin :)
to eternalnectar- I am so utterly grateful you 'saved' this video of Benjamin Smythe! When he removed all his previous videos I was sooooo disappointed at not being able to listen to it again. Thank you!!!
Ben, seriously I think your my new hero. Self love has never been explained to me in the way you do. I listen to your videos over and over. Thanks for the insight! 💕
what a supportive universe :-)!!! Yes, please upload your favourites. I enjoy some of his present videos a lot as well but somehow in some of the previous ones there was exactly what I needed to hear...
This is the most incredible thing I've ever heard. And yet, so obvious. So simple. Thank you so much! Have you written a book? Written for MensHealth Magazine? Cosmo? The mainstream seriously needs to know about this.
Thank you sooo much for sharing this wonderful video.Benjamin has such wonderful, helpful, inspiring information to share.I just Love him *** Much Love and Blessings.
Agreed wholeheartedly with everything you said except that everyone being one is just poetry. It is poetry but it isn't just poetry and it's easy to misinterpret to mean something it isn't. We are all part of a greater conciousness but the way we define ourselves is not of that greater conciousness but of the part. When we die we do not become that greater conciousness but rather that greater conciousness loses the attachment to the part of itself that is ourself. We do only have this lifetime as ourself but that doesn't mean that death is the end of our journey. Death is just the end of all attachment to ourself. I have played the role of a greater conciousness and split into many parts then eventually became whole again. Felt like eternity but only about 2h passed by. I struggle to put the experience into words but I remember the parts of myself living and I remember the attachment to their lives. I remember them dying and I remember them realising they are only part of me the more my attachment to them faded. It showed me how all is one and how to live in the moment. Not to speak about(like I am now) or to think I'm in the moment but to be in the moment. Kind of like realising everything is the moment and to appreciate it as it happens.
There needs to be a balance between absolute and relative truth, between the state of perfection and imperfection. We need to adapt to the things we have(like our feelings, sensations and external things) but not get identified with them.
Ha Ha ... I heard the David Icke tone in the - "we are all connected " rant - made me laugh =) . Hopeful poetry ? Who am I to answer on that ? Do we all seem to have some sort of conscious connectivity , yes. Some positive some negative -- ying yang .... But still 'one' encompassed within that circle. But, like I said .. Who am I ... Good vid, good points ;)
This is only half right. There are times when you have to put yourself 1st but to condone selfishness is wrong. For example you are married a woman entices you you put yourself 1st. Marriage wrecked you loose. Pare car is coming at you and your child ...you save yourself ....you loose. Will that make you like yourself or teach another love. Love is self less not selfish. That will leave you lonely ultimately.
I agree with a lot of what you say in this one - but also I could say some is not true for me.. It is all about the viewpoint in life. We are all one = true from the viewpoint you have = not true But if you see from the my point of view it is true. We are all one, but not the same. They say we are all one, cause if ja break it down -everything comes from the same source. So what is true? your view? my view? or both? so the only logic explanation is: its all about the point of view ;)
I'm still replaying and sharing this video in 2024, thanks Ben!
