As an officer with 21 years you should realize SECDEF and COJCS have nothing to do with foreign policy. They implement the defense and military strategy to support the country’s foreign policy decisions. This is why it never made sense that citizens treated our Vietnam War veterans so poorly. They didn’t decide to go to war in Vietnam. That was a decision made by civilian authorities. One other thing, you couldn’t hold General Milley’s canteen cup. You have no clue as to who he is, where he has been, nor his capabilities. Please read.

I hope they are both gone, Austin and Miley. My son graduated last May and left for the Navy two weeks later. We still have great MEN in our military who are leading my son. He tells me about them. He’s changed so much in less than a year. My boy is no longer a boy. He’s a man. The men he talks about are who I want leading my son who is, according to our Government, a threat to our country because he is white and a conservative. These racist men need to go. Beautiful Senator Mills. And thank you for giving those combat soldiers and marines and any other service members a face and a voice. My son started in infantry - 173rd Airborne Vincenza 14 yrs ago. He decided he was going to fight for those oppressed in the mideast the day the invasion of Baghdad took place - his 15th birthday- March 19, 2003. He planned on going to West Point but his father - my husband - died the next year. So West Point didn't happen but at the age of 20 he enlisted. They saw his inner strength and put him through college ... Hes upfor promotion to Major at age 34 and has his 4th post graduate degree. My point being - a lot of young men and women have that fire in their belly to serve our country and help those that don't the freedoms and privileges they have. Through the antics of Biden - their so called Commander-in-Chief - these kids are not respected or honored for the tremendous responsibility that lay on their shoulders. When they watch things like these 2 yahoos giving away the lives of their comrades, leave American citizens behind to a future that is fraught with danger or death ..... well it takes a toll on their motivation and confidence in their leaders. Austin has let thousands of troops down with no apologies or explanation. Also leaving American families and our allies to terrorists! WTF**k! We all deserve answers or he needs to step down.

The problem with Austin and Milley is that they no longer report to military leaders. They report to politicians. Once a military person is promoted to a single star general, they are now reporting to the President and his administration. So if you want to be a brigadier general and advance to more stars, you better tow the political line.
