I just wanted to say how thankful I am for these amazing sew alongs. I am a someone that struggles with written instructions, these videos are so helpful to me!

The bias tape part (especially when it is folded over and stitched for the second time) is quite difficult to see.

I am SO thankful for these sew along videos. I just made the Avenir jumpsuit and I really want to make these Saguaro pants next. You’re a wonderful instructor, thanks!!

Great tip with putting a piece of paper underneath ties…I also use tear away stabilizer. Great tutorial and I love the fabric.

Great pattern and great tutorial! It’s so awesome that you have sew alongs available for all of your patterns- as a beginner it has really helped me be successful!

This is so helpful! I didn't understand all of the instructions for the neckline but this made it really clear.

Thanks to your encouragement I’ve made 2 sets which I can mix and match with each other so 4 sets in all yay. I love this pattern it is exactly as you described cute and comfy. And the stitching is not perfect but as you also said this pattern is so forgiving double yay xx

Just checked your website, and wowed at your prices. Majority of pattern companies offer more than one simple pattern option for a model for $24.

Ooh I love this. Just bought the pattern yesterday and can't wait to make it! Love your sew-a-longs, they're always so perfectly short and sweet and helpful.

This looks really helpful! I'm a little overwhelmed by the neckline bias tape bit... the understitching... I wish there was a little clip but I'm also aware that I'm a very new sewist and this may be old hat to everyone else :/

Also, why is it important to press seams back? I haven't been able to find an answer yet...

Evelyn Wood has a nice tutorial on understitching. It’s the same process for bias tape, facings, pockets, etc. and it’s important for keeping the tape or facing from showing. How you press your seams depends on the type of seam you are doing, but seams add bulk, so pressing to the seam to the back puts the bulk in a less obvious area. A good press is really important - it makes your project look so much better and can hide a myriad of flaws!

Great. Now very inspired to get the pattern cut out

Thanks for tutorial, easy to follow along for most part. But sewing the neckline is a bit confusing...we understitch along the seam and then sew over that same line to sew the bias tape down? Mine looks messy when I did it that way...I had two lines of stitching that aren't even...seems like we could skip the understitch? I'm confused. Maybe some close up pictures under the machine, showing where to actually sew would be helpful.

You sew on the far fold of the binding when you sew it down. So not on top of the understitching. I think looking at the diagram in the pattern instructions would help you visualize this step!

Same I can't figure it out. The wrong side looks nicer than the right side 😅

I love love your patterns and sew alongs. So thanks so much for this…
I have a question about lengthening the bodice … do I just add an extra inch( that’s how much I would lengthen it by) at the bottom, or do I have to slash and spread across the pattern?
Thanks so much … can’t wait to make the set xx

Would you guys be able to share how to make the top longer and adjust the front accordingly for that?

I would love to know too. I am a tall person and a beginner sewist. I wish there were length options as well as width options.

Still trying to work out how you sewed the bis strips together. That angle is shown too quickly. I appreciate the video but its really hard to see. And quite dim. Please take this into consideration in future
