After a little break, I'm slowly coming back to the Lego Castle!
Maybe some of you know my projects of siege machines, and there were some - trebuchet, catapult, ballista, mantlet.

A few years ago I built a working trebuchet and diorama "The Siege of Bricks". After a few years, I'm coming back to the topic and building a trebuchet again!
This time it will be bigger, stronger and better historically reproduced

Really nice , i remember saw few remake of medieval trebuchet when i was young & one especially blow my mind , for the reload mecanisum there were two giant wheel on eatch side like hamster wheels on both side it was made for 4 or 6 mens to reload the trebuchet as fast as possible they yold me it was the most advanced model who existed during medieval wars it was even bigger than the other version i could saw next to it , i think it’s possible to recreate it with the system of the water wheel of the 3 in 1 black falcons castle with some modifications & add one or two minifigs on eatch wheels , i’m gonna try to make one once i get few other castle 3 in 1 to get enough pieces to build it , anyway i like the details you added to this trebuchet especially the size it get it look really good & at minifigs scales as well 😉👍

Really great work! This is a fantastic project, with so many lovely details and it really shows your dedication! Would it be possible to replace the weights with “Brick, Modified 2 x 6 x 2 Weight - Bottom Sealed, Dimple on Ends”. they weight 53.3 g, and I have a around 4 of those.

@@EdgeofBricks the mold was first used in ninjago, idk it makes minifigs look chunky, like a world of warcraft design. But different strokes for different folks.
