I started with a dry white canvas. I used all DecoArt Colors including the new pouring medium. I mix all of my paints with a 1:1 ratio of paint to pouring medium. You want the consistency of honey pouring in a stream from your craft stick. I add a drop of silicone (treadmill lubricant) to each ounce of paint mixture, excluding white and black. Then I pour it into my squeeze bottles. I do store them for long periods of time and shake them. Thus the smaller cells. All DecoArt products are listed at the bottom. I always seal my art after it has dried a minimum of 72 hours with multiple coats of High Gloss Varnish using a sponge brush. *Tip* I store my sponge brush in a sealed Ziploc between coats and do not rinse it so it does not deteriorate the sponge. This will store safely for at least a week.

Finally tried it. Used very old craft paints with mixed results. Used some new paints. Have not used a torch yet. Don’t have one yet. I’ve really enjoyed doing this. I’ll have to watch more of your videos. They are great inspiration!!

Hi Sandra, I am a Christian and my heart was touched by the sharing of your need for prayer, over your sons addiction. Though I hear your pain over this, I also hear your healthy understanding of who's problems this is. I recently ran into a quote by Oswald Chambers that I have found so helpful: "Faith is the deliberate confidence in the character of God". I will pray for you, your son and that the Lord will heal and be Glorified in all of this.

Sometimes less is more. It’s beautiful but before you’ve added the additional pink it was just right. I love this as a back splash to my kitchen if only it came as tiles

All colors and the white are all mixed 1:1 with Floetrol... Silicone is in all the colors except white

I agree - The first flowers where abstract and lovely especially the pink and red near the top - I think she overworked it with the bright green highlights and leaves - It went from simple abstract to a kitchy - The trick is to know when to stop
