I know you gonna love this😆 This is such a wonderful song.
Initially I thought it is appealing mass as this was his 1st OST written for TV drama series. Indeed it well fit into the show, easy to remember melody and lyrics. However, the more I listen to it, I re-discovered the power of this song.
The lyrics were targeted for students who are graduating this spring who could not enjoy normal school life due to COVID. ( spring is graduation / relocation season in Japan) yet, it is very universal and touching lyrics.
His vocal is evolving and the arrangement makes this song beyond just beautiful graduation song.

Mr. Fujii Kaze's "旅路/Tabiji/Journey " is a gentle song, isn't it? March and April are the switching timings for one year in Japan.
There are many people who change to a new life, such as going on to new school or getting a job. What's more, the coronavirus pandemic has been going on for over a year now. Mr. Fujii graduated from high school five years ago. He is interviewed about the current situation, remembering that time. He was scared of vague anxieties about the future when he was in high school.
However, his experience gained in his involvement with his teachers and friends helped him grow. And that experience gave him the power to take the next step.
He is grateful for that and the people around him. Even in an era without a pandemic, we are anxious, so how much anxiety do young people have to embark on a new journey right now? Mr. Fujii made this song with a feeling of compassion as if he were close to them.
"I don't have the power to support them, but I hope this song warmly wraps them in tenderness," he said.
The director of this MV (dutch_tokyo / Kento Yamada) seems to have produced MVs for many artists.
