What's inside this beautifully drawn-on box from the "no show" locker bought at the storage auction?

- Recently we scored when no one showed up at the auction. We picked up a 10' x 20' locker for just $50! This is part 14 of what I'm calling the "Auction No Show" series.
We're staying busy while serving the "shelter in place" order we're under here in California. I have lots of boxes to go through! In this batch of unboxing, we come across this box with fancy Chicano writing on it, titled "souvenirs".

I had a home health patient who had a custom-built, lighted glass display case for her JUST THE RIGHT SHOE collection, unimaginably fantastic! Her spouse bought some for gifts, friends and family would also participate, because some were very hard to find, and all were PRICEY!!! I felt like a kid in a candy store, wanting to see EVERY SHOE!!!

My husband has the Three Stooges can opener! Curly says "nyuck nycuk nycuk" among other things, lol. And I have one of those "Just the Right Shoe" statues. Man, they used to so be such a "thing" years ago.
the two wooden shells from spain are a musical instrument called "Castanets" and they take more skill to use than it seems, so I found out. :D Once you get the hang of it they make for a perfect Flamengo-dance instrument.

Wooden castanets for spanish dancing. Slip fingers through yellow loops and use hands to clap then together. Usually on both hands.

Those Alaskan pieces, The carving and the Totem may have value if they were done by the indigenous people.

Try getting a magic marker that you write with on white boards. Write on top of the sharpie ink then wipe off repeat you can get sharpie ink off of a LOT of things doing that!!!

They have nothing to show us or sell on their channel. I love the chair collection, if I was into collecting I would be in trouble. I used to collect carousel horses 🎠 but they got too expensive.
Wow. Those miniature chairs are so darned cute. Those casters! Wow. The detailing. Incredible. I never knew there was such a thing. I have had mini shoes. Used them as Christmas tree ornaments as they were not the same maker. So interesting. Well, you won't be bored any time soon. Lol. So much to look through.

Use a tip with rubbing alcohol and that will remove all the sharpie without destroying the sets
You truly got so lucky on this one. Yes all this wonderful thing's will go tk new families to love them just like they did. I truly think this is a God wink you were supposed to get this one why nobody else knew to come. And why you got it so cheap. This kind of a unit doesn't come along very often why I truly believe it was meant to happen for you to get it.🙏🏼❤ don't forget to Thank God for this one.

yep, very late to the party but your stone was pyrite (fool's gold) & the other rock is a geode of some kind maybe quartz.
That souvenir box had some cool pieces, but the most valuable treasures imho were the Stevie Ray Vaughan & Santana CDs. Cool tip with the kitchen towel. We love this no-show locker.

Jack, I think isopropyl alcohol will remove permanent marker off of cd's and cd cases. If that doesn't work try hair spray. I know hair spray will remove marker from clothing so it should work for the cd's. Good luck.

Write over the sharpie with a whiteboard marker, then it will wipe off, you may need to do it a couple of times

Are they still doing storage auctions in your area or are they shut down right now?
They are mostly shut down, but a few had been operating up until a couple days ago. One of the bigger auctioneers in the area sent out a notice saying all auctions were cancelled as per the Governor's orders.
I hope you didn't throw out cds etc with sharpie names because they can be cleaned off with tea tree or eucalyptus oils
