It takes A LOT of breath to start and finish a whole cadence when you’re the leader
I think it may actually help get air in your lungs
Helps keep your mind off of running. Hence can run for a long long time
the point of cadence is to make you breathe more while running too many idiots clamp up and pass the fudge out ...
@@Azraiel.Bridger left right left breath in left right left breath out. Works for walking and running. 👍🤪

So many hungover and still drunk runs hearing this
Default to Doctrine
Train like you Fight
Good memories. Think you can't do 3 miles until some starts calling cadence.
The thing I miss the most is these double time cadences
The biggest mistake I ever made......was leaving the Army
PMC
Same, First Sergeant even tried to warn me. Wish I would have listened to him. I feel left out.
Same here, found a home and a life in the Army.
My biggest mistake was not swallowing my bunk mates load instead of letting him give me an anal cream pie. If only i could do it over again....
Yeah.....but......all that damn running with the lost ranger battalion 3-187 killed it for me. I was in from 8-01 to 8-05 infantry. I really hate running.
3ID in the house. I’m retired but still run to cadence.
Thank you sir 🙏
Whoever is doing cadence at 4:30, you're a legend. Been running to his cadence for years
My dad was/is an Airborne Ranger, then Blackhorse Armored Cavalry in Vietnam 71-72
Yeah - bro goes hard on that cadence!
-This we’ll defend
PT me to death, Drill Sergeant!
man...running many many miles to this cadence...the memories....
Ight imma bout to run
Hahah this shit motivates the fuck outta you
Same
The words of my old Platoon Sergeant, FUCK Yeah!”

Some days you don't know if you should scratch your watch or whind you ass and when people die because of your desicion you might hate yourself for a long time. That's something they just can't train you for.
The cadence I said when I was a Corporal in the infantry was "see the lady in the red, she likes to give a lot ahead, see the lady in the black she likes to do it on her back". I did this in front of the mail room where all the wifes were picking up their mail and the wifes would bust out laughing. My squad said it loud and proud. C Co, 1st Bn, 6th Inf.
@Zert Tey Our mail room was in the HQ Barracks in Illeshiem Germany. Ground floor was always open all hours for the mailboxes and unlike other MOSs bitch, 11 Bravo exercised or marches around the base all hours of the day my little remf.... So suck it.....
C Co, 1st Bn 6th INF, 1st AD, punk ass bitch.
@Zert Tey you sound like a bitch.
Co. B 1st/6th here.
God bless you brother!
Classic.
3/504 3rd Platoon C. Co. here
BASTARDS!!
4 weeks out from basic and I just keep running my ass off to these cadences
Haul ass bro I'm trying to get some too. This cadence charges the batteries for me
@@GoneFishin610 damn right man, I'm up at 5am every day ready to go with this shit, it's so good
@@SwiftestScout hell yeah brother. Pain is temporary man I'm trying to work up something fierce let's keep on going
I ship out in 5 weeks option 4 baby! This shit makes me love the running that I normally hate
Good look and thank you all for this sacrifice 🙏 God bless
"I am the last thing you will see!" DAMN!
I hated running with a passion, like to the bone except when I ran guidon or had a good cadence caller.
I have the honour to have jumped with the 82nd Airborne. When they came to do a joint exercise with the Canadian Airborne Regiment in Petawawa Ontario. They were really big lads!
And, I love the Black Sabbath innuendo in this song!
Osons. Ex Colis.
A retired Canadian Airborne trooper sends his utmost respect.
I remember one August morning in 1974, when we ran the battalion commander's retriever to death.
When does 10 miles equal 15 miles? Every Monday morning.
Rangers lead the Way!
only 15 for us it was 20 /25 averaging 4/5mins a mile :/ back in the 90's now days its sadly cub scouts our military's have gone to hell in a hand basket thanks to the liberal agenda :/
@@Azraiel.Bridger You mean to say that you guys would routinely run nearly a marathon in just over 2 hours?
God bless you, brother!
'ALL THE WAY!'
Got to sweat that alcohol out you was drinking 10 minutes before formation 🤣
Thanks for uploading this. Great motivation.
I miss this... I never got a tab, but I supported The Rangers twice as an intel guy. I just miss this commraderie
Its ok man its not the Scroll
Best years of my life!!!!
Thank you for your service. May I continue to receive the freedom you provide.
"Bo diddly bo diddly have you heard.
I'm gonna fly that big white bird.
If that chute don't open wide,
I got another one by my side.
If that other one fails me too,
I'll be feelin' mighty blue. (alternative..."I'll sail off in the big old blue)
Tell my momma I did my best.
Bury me in the leaning rest."
From Basic training Fort Dix, 1976
That first 3 minutes gets me wicked hyped. Holy crap.
Ranger!
Keep on rocking in the free worl.
May God be with you and your families.
God has nothing to do with war, America does
I loved it when we ran to this, probably my favorite cadence we ran to
Which one???
OOORAH SEMPER FI!!! Absolutely an amazing addition!!!
Aight, I’m on my treadmill as a civilian now, sounding off to this especially at the 2:00 mark lol
heh.. potatoes don't understand the purpose of a cadence.. 🤣 you're gonna confuse them.
Everyone who very service the military says that. Because they love the job, and there buddies they serve with. ❤❤❤❤ they love it.
My god this brought back so many good memories
HOOAH !!!
Same here. WTF did I leave for. GET SOME!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOO AIRBORNE
"I like it , I love it, I want some more of it, make it hurt D. S. Make it hurt. I hate running and hate water even more! Never forget the lister bag hanging in the woods, algae growing all over the outside, with a swarm of yellow butterflies to boot. Hand full of purification tabs 2 kicks and a come get it
Screw that, but I do miss it 4 some twisted reason. My gpaw was a naval cook on a battleship in ww2. My father was Navy loadmaster, quarter master, rescue 20,000 hrs C-130H over 500 in a chopper after nam he finished his time with the Blue Angles(f-4) I went army in the early 90's. My wife's oldest son is a marine, my son went air force.
Hooah
And no tin huts in the army, that's the latrine! Miss all my brothers and sisters and thanks for everyone's service!
We fight ‘til we die, with and for each other. Hooah boys, I love yah
I was a beat at PT I was a Airborne, but I never went ranger. Probably one of my biggest regret in life.
Thank you Brother.
I loved the lake drop at Benning!
This a good one!!! Got me going. Thanks
"Oohrah semper fi" on an army cadence. Okay then...
*_funi_*
likely prior service Marine reenlisted with Army thinking they're funny. common. like medic AIT's.. got you responding with "Soldier Medic".. but generally everyone saying "Soooo Dramatic Drill Sergeant..!" 🤣 one of those ~things..
@@albinovishnu8298 woot woot go guard
I was army but I will jam to marine corps hip hop cadences
Don’t be jelly we can make it sound better lol
Best workout soundtracks ever!
1/325 Airborne Infantry 1979-1985 Fort Bragg. Miss those times. I always relive many memories at Bragg, best days in my military career.
I can still hear when I was stationed at Ft Wood recruits singing AT FORT WOOOOOOD
Thank you for your voluntary servitude
The first guy was great, they only got worse from there. Second guy had some Rhythm, the third guy had none.
The cadence caller has the rawest fucking voice I think I've ever heard
Thank you
That eye discipline, though, hell yeah got it all locked down
I remember our coach taught us this in football, good days
I was an Army Wife for 20 years. Oddly enough, I could call cadence even 20 years after the last deployment. (Yeah, I am that old)
(Anyone know "yellow bird?)
Just got out of OSUT and we had a DS that ONLY called yellow bird
PT!!! GOOD FOR YOU GOOD FOR ME!!!!
NOOOO!!!! Louisiana. Fort Polk. Summer Hot. Damn hot. REAL DAMN HOT. AWWW GOOD TIMES. OORAH
TYFYS ! Always......
11 Bravo Vet here proud and loud
Fuck me, running...I'm having a Goddam flashback!
Hoooaah. Jodies made PT tolerable.
I miss it all day every day
I made the dutch army 👌🏾
Gideon Arthur awesome
Do they carry pretzel's into battle?
Man this is a fast cadence to run.
Yup let's go see u there.
Love this cadence - my old Drill Sgt. used to love the Tie a Yellow Ribbon cadence back in the late 80's - 1980s...
He was very religious so swearing was definitely not a part of his cadences.
We got those others from another Drill who everyone called "foulmouthed Phil" - behind his back of course 🙂
Front lean rest position! huh!
Many of the pictures are Marines....not Army.
A badass is a badass is a badass
Anyone brave enough to say the oath, put on the cammies, pick up the rifle and get into the fight is badass, no matter what branch.
Marines must not pay attention to detail.. read the the message at the start of the video if you can read
Drill never runs far enough...hooah I said HOOAH
My future job in 2 years
I have friends and family that served and still serve army and marines
I miss this shit....on occasion
Only when you’re drunk I’d guess. Me too.
Hello Kimchi Boy.
Love your Country
Wich I learned to defend both with the US ARMY AND SOUTH KOREA'S ARMY 9th Inf .Div. White Horse.
Ready to jump out of a plane from my treadmill! Get some!
11b Infantry Viet Vet
Been telling myself my whole life is never join the army but forgot about how I used to listen to these as a toddler..about to turn 30 and I'm taking to my dad about joining up so I can try to go to jump school. It dies hard lol
Loved cadences.. yogi bear, I dunno why I left, st peter, they say that in the Army...
Bury me in the leaning rest.
Shittt!!!! 12 yrs out...bout to go through cardiac arrest or return to stretch out...gonna hurt either way...no pain no gain...jesus I miss it!!!!

82nd Airborne!! Ranger way!
U got the right. To roll
Mistakes we all make airborne all the way
“Ooraah and semper fi” think you got the wrong branch there mate
why are these banned i’m trying to get the audio because the man who sings this is my 1st srgt
Snake platoon! Where you at?
Who else sings this while running alone?
Retired in 2021..just finished a 3 miler to this!!
About to go do some pt
Airborne always
Thank you to all for your service.
That sounds like my uncle in that lol I think he was in that and plus he was engineer and a attack forces he was mostly engineer he mostly work on airplanes I swear I think he was in that
Damn....
One of my biggest regrets.
CIWS tech...you gentlemen call her rocket, artillery, mortar...we say "it flies, it dies". Credit due, the few times we're on dry land, we use your cadences.
Tankers!
These cadence paces are what cause shinsplints. You have to land harder if you’re taller and have an irregular pace. Army fox this shit DS’ !
HHBD to my Dad 101 Airborne 😢🎉
Hooyah.
Sappers lead the way🤙🏾🔥
At The Breach!
hahraaanja
👍.
Them..I like Witches and their black masses.
Me after finding out they aren't kidding. 😔
Don't like my comment if you are into Satan, i rebuke you.
They were quoting lyrics from a Black Sabbath song - War Pigs.

Lol on the treadmill and needed motivation
When I get to heaven, St Peters gonna say, how’ed you earn your living how’ed you earn your pay. I replied with a whole lot of anger.
TO BE WHEN THEY SAW US COMING WE WERE FEARED NOW U.S. MILITARY IS LAUGHED AT LIKE AN INEXPERIENCED REPO MAN
Semper Fi is the Marines
Why is the sky blue? Because God loves the infantry. What makes the green grass grow blood blood bright red BLOOD!!
What’s the name of the first song?
