Mechanics all-over the world are doing an amazing job. ❤❤
Agree 💯
Very nice video on diesel engine explain parts also
I’m proud of these young men for learning a trade and not having their brains ruined by social media.
They don't have a choice either earn or expire.
Without a torque wrench somewhere will leak. But anyway, we know now how to assemble truck engines step by step. Sukria bhai.🙏✌👍
Every Mechanic Have Own Work Style 👉🤝
A torque wrench they need. Is amazing how they memorize everything
هذا فن وابداع جزاكم الله خيرا
Jooss...!team teknisi yang kompak..!
Amazing..!
Great job fells ....I bet most haters on here wouldn't know how to use a torque wrench let alone build an engine up from a bare block...its easy to sit back and critique others work..great work fellas keep em chugging.👍
I don't want to look like a hater here but as a man who rebuilds deisel engines I can tell you this engine has 50k tops in it before needing another rebuild
Ive never built a diesel engine, but there certainly are things i would do different. Got to take pride in what your work is, but i guess this is "quality" on that side.
@@tylerbeverley7777 I guess....it just makes me cringe seeing no torqueing or assembly lube on the main bearings. I mean the tolerances on an engine are in the thousandths and assembly damn near needs to be drenched all over those bearings, cam lobes, etc. Not hating but there is just no way this engine has the proper lubrication upon initial startup and whatnot.
@@haydona1845 it will be a miracle if it lasts 500 hours
@@methree3821 That's horribly sad and shit but they didn't torque the bolts properly....
After working in aviation for 13 years and the strict use of calibrated tools and maintenance manuals and rule and regulations these videos makes my butthole pucker.....but they still do a better job than most of the half-assed mechanics i see working on cars in san antonio tx
I bet you won’t be able to rebuild a one piston engine with your 13 years experience following “rules and regulations” .
@@LeCobra. I could if I had instructions.......aviation techs are considered unskilled labor (I think) because we're taught to go by the maintenance manuals...and they're constantly updated so you have to pull manual for every job every time. We could even get in trouble using one even a day old per FAA regs.
I do feel stupid trying to diagnose my own truck problems when talking to a licensed auto tech.....lol....im not knocking them at all.
And its not that I can't do the same work and do it correctly, hell, they trained monkeys to go to space......its all about the training.
But in aviation if you dont have the paperwork done right there's a very real threat of federal jail time. Most aviation accidents boil down to improper maintenance that causes a series of catastrophic failures that bring birds down, and thats when the FAA really digs into paperwork to find out who screwed up. Thats why after crashes you'll find techs, managers and supervisors commit suicide. On top of the deaths they cause its federal jail time.
"Hillin's on the south side is a great shop. They are two brothers who do quality work. They raced cars when they were younger. Yes, San Antonio has terrible, untrained mechanics.
@@LeCobra. What a stupid comment by Le Cobra. Get a life.
maybe the difference there in san antonio is only safety.. but the skills??
You guys do amazing work!
I would love to send these guys some assembly lube and a torque wrench. Great Job 👍
I just wanted to say, where was the tork wrench!
And some proper gloves and hand degreaser

A well coordinated team 😊
Is that a limestone between oil coller sections? That brown reddish thing. Yep, it is.
And water pump/thermostat housing is clogged with limestone deposit too. Cool😉
good work by skilled technicians
Not a 'torque wrench' in sight, way to go boys!!

Tragic engine life...no torque wrench, no plastigage...this engine rebuild was just for fun.
This engin life 500000 km must....
@Leo CODM wwssssww
Its called experience
I don’t think these mechanics and owners worry about the long term used of this engine after rebuild. They just want it work, even though the engine gonna last 3 months, the owners still thumb 🆙 💪🏻💪🏻to this mechanics and say they are the best.
You don't know buddy. My mini truck have 450000km on ODO and we rebuild its engine, now we have 295000km more and its still going awesome. Its not possible to attach foto or video here so i show you about thay engine.

Amazing 👏. I was looking forward to hear it 😀
You should show it working after they have completed
Use a torque wrench Use a torque wrench to fasten the screws with the specified tightening force.
I wonder how long the engine can stand after overhaul

Please am also into auto mechanic work please I need some special tools, can u get it for me and send it to me, I will send you the money before you send the tools
When you torque the head bolts, you should start in the center then work out, this is to evenly lay the head down to the block
Mantap cara kerjanya salam sukses selalu
You have have done the best I like the content and I like the delivery congratulation.

Good job brothers
Liked to see these guys working. Seem to know what they were doing except I didn't see a torque wrench used.
Bro they didn't put any oil on the main bearings and then dropped a crankshaft on them, and then....on top of all that....proceeded to spin the crankshaft. This engine will not last long. I absolutely applaud the effort but no way in hell

good job ,great
only my Pakistani brothers scan build engine BY HAND ... amazing skills & talent loads of resilience ... European or even Chinese worker can't even think about it ... hats of to u boys ....
You clearly don't know much about auto mechanics. Not using a torque wrench or engine installation grease is not the sign of skill or talent. The only thing it guarantees is that the engine will be back in that shop or trashed in the near future. I will take a European mechanic any day over this stupid crap.
Amazing work

Never saw anyone rebuild a engine with No torque wrench and a large hammer!,,
EXPERIENCED HANDS DOESN'T REQUIRE TORQUE WRENCH
CASUALS DO
@@E-E.ADVENTUREGEARS lol buy a new caps lock key
torque wrench is essential for engines, at least if you want that engine to last. If bolts aren't tightened exactly the same, applying the same pressure all around, it will lead to trouble when you have pistons moving at 2000 rpm. Hands don't have torque wrenches built into them.
Wow rebuild engine without torque wrench
Hino engines are really bulletproof.
No problem to build together without a torquewrench
@@jantrammelant they're bulletproof, is that why this one needed rebuild 🤣

Desde el principio están mal.

Además de que se aprieta con un torque de fuerza determinado. No a la fuerza de las manos

Actually it wont. The valve cover has a rubber gasket on the other side. That sealant is not really necessary at all, more like double insurance

Trabalho profissional aonde ?

I'm a retired auto mechanic and have build more than a few engines over the years and guess I done it wrong since I always used assembly lube on the bearings and torque things down😒
you'r wrong. you should never ever use a torque wrench in engine rebuild. just set it at 22Nm/m and use it as a 🔨 hammer. lmao
Im giving this engine less than 50k miles before its coming back apart for another rebuild
czcams.com/video/aG9HoBfmzfU/video.html
@@rubenramirez8062 unless it comes back in several parts, in less than 50k miles🤣🤣
Shh!! We're supposed to be magically impressed by their work🤣🤣
At least that's what i get told every time i comment about the poor work, lack of safety, primitive conditions.
On a side note, i fully agree with you.
I have always used assembly lube, never put an engine together dry! You can NEVER use too much lubrication on a engine rebuild.
I've been guilty of not exactly using a torque wrench on oil pans & valve covers, but i ALWAYS use a torque wrench on rods, mains, heads, intake manifolds.
I guess I'm old school as i always plasti- guage rods & mains.
I've seen a number of guys rebuild engines here in the states, some high performance engines, & they say you don't need to plasti-guage rods & mains.
Guess i just always like to know, & don't take the risk of an engine knocking after I've done alot of hard work building it & installing it.
