The BANDBOX is a fully immersive and engaging interactive experience. They are an intimate tasting lounge and bottle shop with a small number of indoor tables which fosters witty banter between staff and guests.
The goal is to allow guests to sample a variety of non-alcoholic cocktails/drinks on their tasting menu with the staff's guidance and recommendations. It’s like having your own personal non-alcoholic concierge assisting you with choosing the perfect NA drink that meets your expectations.

On this episode of The Orlando Guy, I’m going to show you one of the most unique speakeasies in my city called, The BANDBOX. The BANDBOX is only six minutes north of downtown Orlando on Orange Avenue in the heart of the Ivanhoe Village neighborhood.
The BANDBOX is the brainchild of owner, proprietor and host Kevin Zepf. What makes this speakeasy so unique in Orlando is that they only serve non-alcoholic versions of classic drinks. The non-alcoholic beverage industry began to boom in markets like Sydney, London, and New York. The BANDBOX is now proud to be Orlando’s first spirit-free cocktail tasting lounge and bottle shop where consumers come in for a beverage and come back for the experience.
The interior of The BANDBOX is intimate in every aspect of this cozy space. In fact, the speakeasy only seats four to six people at a time for around a 40-minute experience. You’ll marvel at the décor with a nod to the lavish Art-Deco cues of the 1920s and 30s. It is in every sense of the word a fully immersive experience.
Once inside you can order non-alcoholic versions of classic cocktails named using period slang like the High Hat, a Whiskey Maple Smoked Old Fashioned; or That’s the Berries, a Rum Strawberry Shrub Cocktail.
You’ll find a menu filled with libations made from elixirs, bitters, roots, syrups, berries, shrubs, spices, fruit peels and tonics.
The BANDBOX is also a bottle shop offering pre-made alternative cocktails and aperitifs. You can also munch on elevated bar snacks like dill pickle, classic margarita, spicy jalapeno and spicy smoked Virginia peanuts.
The BANDBOX is only open in the evenings Wednesdays through Sundays and reservations are required for indoor table service. You can; however, walk-in for to-go drinks which can be enjoyed outdoors on their patio on a first-come first-served basis.
Located in the heart of historic Ivanhoe Village in downtown Orlando, The BANDBOX will take whisk you away to the early twentieth century and leave you wanting to return again and again. Why is it called The BANDBOX? You’ll have to make a reservation to find out, the next time you visit Orlando.
