I use a Primos trigger stick for my camera because they are super quick to use.. they're not very compact but if you hate adjusting tripod legs they're pretty good

Agreed that the Peak Design is the lightest travel tripod ever, and I love it. The plate gives me pause. It's a pain to work with.

Indeed.. the plate is a little quirky.. but I definitely like the lightness

On my recent trip to Japan I was lucky to spend 3 nights at the Conrad Tokyo! I booked their cheapest room through AMEX and I was upgraded to their 775 sq foot Tokyo Bay View Suite at check in!!! I had perfect views of the skyline and Tokyo Bay with the Hamarikyu Gardens right below. By far the best hotel room I've ever stayed in! Next time you visit Tokyo you will have to do a hotel review of the Conrad!

Thanks for sharing Chris! Less than 3 lbs. is great. I had to ditch my tripod and stick with a gorillapod. It became super time consuming to setup and take down and switch back and forth with cameras etc. Plus too many ppl started getting curious lol.

For sure. I use a gorillapod or selfie stick in most situations. But it's useful to have a tripod for those occasional shots 😀

I think the tool you use to attach the plate to your camera falls out from its holder too easily. It can get lost.

Talk about over priced my man. It weights almost double the Fotopro Aircross 3, doesn't have the fast twisting mechanism for extending the legs and it cost 4x...What the...

Oh the horror stories of a tripod falling over. My friend had that happen and his lens shattered into his 5D Mk IV. Six grand of camera equipment gone just like that 😬

@@YellowProductionsknowing him, I doubt it was a cheap tripod either, but one bad gust of wind can take down the sturdiest of tripods.
