No, just filtered water or distilled water
I'm trying thus method because my orchid died because of a rotting and the stem is the only alive par left. I did it months ago ad i'm still waiting. Hoping for the best

How often were you changing the water?
It’s very frustrating when people who post videos like this don’t answer questions. I watched a different CZcams video about this topic and they suggested changing the water at a minimum of once a week. I’m definitely going to try this with some of my phal spikes. Best of luck to you! 🌸
Sorry for the delay, I don't change the water often enough. For water-cultured orchids, it's recommended to change the water every week.
