A birthday comes once a year and the Superbowl once in a lifetime. When I was a child, my father got Red Wings tickets and I thought I was going to a Red Wings game. About a week or so later my father talked to me in private and said that he wanted to take my male step cousins to the game instead of my sister and myself. He explained to me that he felt that they would appreciate the hockey game much more and that their family did not have as much money as ours, therefore they may never get an opportunity like this as children. I was like 12 years old and I got it. Some women are just incredibly selfish and immature.
Yeah the only thing I thought is he should at least have offered to bring her to Vegas on the same weekend. It would be a nice birthday celebration also
The Super Bowl game is fine to bring his friends but it sounds like he wanted a ‘Guys weekend’ rather than also share it with his other half. I don’t think it’s as simple as her being selfish which she is to insist she goes to game but he should have included her too the days before/after
