- New: Duane "Dog" Chapman continues to search for Gabby Petito's boyfriend Brian Laundrie and has released some new information he has obtained during his investigation. In addition to putting up $10,000 towards the reward, "Dog the Bounty Hunter" says he received a tip that placed Laundrie's sister in Fort De Soto on Sept. 6 -- initial reports were only the parents went with Laundrie to the Pinellas County park. Police were told of this development and a plainclothes officer is said to be with Chapman during his search for any sign of Laundrie.

She’s dead, he’s hiding in the woods somewhere, Brian’s parents are now the most hated family in America, and Gabby’s family is absolutely traumatized. Brian has really left a wake of destruction behind him. Hopefully he is found soon.

Hopefully his body is found soon.

He’s a narcissist... this drama and carnage is literally feeding his soul. And he will still play the victim and hero at the same time when found.
He might kill himself
3,000 miles from home, taking her phone and stealing her van, she was being abandoned in the middle of nowhere.
Been in that situation before. Mine was domestic bad ..the cops always took his side. No matter if my eyes where back and closed or not . He was good at holding my labador hostage.
Well would you have preferred he left the van and phone to be stolen or towed away by some crooked tow company
So scary to see this...as a mommy of 2 girls 👭 Gabby looks like an older version of my middle child 💔
I think he was trying to take her van and leave her and she knew what he wanted to do he intended to drive off that is why she was fighting to get in the van so hard.
@Jeff Dur if she panicked that bad and had to fight back, it's probably not the first time that it's happened...
Abused women often say what the boyfriend wants in fear the boyfriend will hurt her if he thinks he is threatened.
The cops mentioned Gabby had marks but they stupidly chose to focus on Brian’s marks and now the 100 pound girl is dead.
@Uno Seeme you have to stop this. Really think about what you are saying. Do some more research please
Seeing these photos of their daughter in distress must be so painful for her parents. May God bring them peace and strength.

And if she hits you, you can't win. Just take your lumps.
@@shellygardner6410 the hitting was in self defense she took the blame and said she did it but according to witnesses in the 911 call that was released he hit her. I agree so much. Women deserve to be cherished and help their husbands succeed.
@Wilco Lucero damn we have The next Brian right here
@@Fionabejeweled2001 if u watch the whole 59min video of second body cam, the police called the witness back and the witness says he didn't hit her.. The witness actually says the same thing Brian and Gabby say, that it was Gabby doing the swinging and Brian shoves her pretty much in self defense
Let me make it clear for ALL officers: When you confront a situation like this in the near future, whereby a woman assumes the blame and responsibility for being abused by her significant other -- she is suffering from Battered Women's Syndrome, and it's a form of C-PTSD.
In this situation, the person who is accepting the blame needs to be taken down to the police station where she can FREELY speak to someone on the police force who is a trained psychologist or therapist. She must be allowed to freely speak her mind without her partner present to intimidate her.
When you have C-PTSD, you may not even be aware of it because you've been groomed and trained to accept the abuse in the relationshit.
At this critical stage, this individual needs to receive counseling in order to understand that she has been abused emotionally (at the least) and needs to be taught how to recognize abuse in all its forms, and get away from it.
We need the Gabby Petito law in order to help and teach abused women (and men) to take back their power and leave toxic relationships.
THIS IS THE COMMENT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️💯
Amen to that!!!
@Peace Joy Well said! x
I totally agree. You can see she is suffering. Breaks my heart to watch her cry.
Thank you.
Never got to hear what Dog was saying other than, "over in the swamp." It would have made more sense to hear it from the Dog's mouth since the title says, 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' uncovers new evidence in search for Brian Laundrie.

The parents and sister need to be interrogated they are all liars
Oh yea they are liars because they don’t show any emotions for Gabby or the fact their son just magically went “missing” after a hike when he just came back from a long trip with Gabby and then his parents. The parents aren’t speaking and they weren’t when Gabby was first missing. When Brian is caught if he’s brought in alive he will rat on his parents and sister for a deal

@@Z-e-r-0 So.. by your logic Gaby is not dead, her family is not traumatized, and Brian is not on the run?? OK 🙄
I knew immediately that she was the victim from a guy like that who was smiling a lot! He reminded me of my ex husband!
"He was trying to ward off Gabby's attack"...AFTER he tried to lock her out of her own home and she was trying to enter, but he was preventing it. She's trying to get into her home - he's preventing her, she panic's over being left behind (he put her bag outside of the van) - and SHE's the aggressor? She should have drove out of Utah that night and left Brian there. She'd be alive today if she had. Lesson: Women - never, ever, ever be dependent on a man. Same goes for men. Ya'll need to be able to stand on your own - before you come together.
Ffs I bet your fun to live with 👌🇮🇪🍀🙏
True but also ya never know a true person’s colours especially in just less than a year it takes way longer than that. He had one shady messed up past and tried to hide it, same for Brian’s parents who also closeted him . Should be a law that makes it standard practice for law enforcement and police and other authorities to be trained in psychology and abuse. Also a new public data base for people with a history of abuse or mental health issues so that a partner or gf or fiancé can check and look up about who they are with. It would work by if ya arrested for a similar offence it’s logged about their past on that data base and it’s public information. Only thing I would say to anyone in an abusive relationship to seek out help and to not brush it off if it’s seriously causing ya harm or physical abuse. Don’t ignore it and speak up . You’ll be saving your life potentially and the lives of others too.
It was her decision she had her chance to tell the police ya know , she made the wrong decision , out of love maybe.

It doesn't matter how many body cam videos they release... None of them change the fact that the 911 caller was very specific in stating that he saw Brian slap Gabby then they ran back and forth down the sidewalk only for Brian to hit gabby again then they both got into the van and took off...

Here is what I cannot understand from the very start: Your son returns without his girlfriend; in her van; you do not ask him where she is; or do you; does he lie or tell you what happened; he gets a lawyer; regardless you do not call her mother and tell her her daughter did not return; it takes 10 days and her parents calling you to ask where their daughter is; it takes her father trying to report it; etc. This is what I have heard from the news so my apology if it is inaccurate. But if true at all then the cover up and BS and deflection started on Sept 1. Yes you can love your child but Gabby is somebody’s child! The truth needs to come out now.
I believe they knew before he arrived at home, and why isn't the parents dragged in and questioned with the sister.
@@jasongollaher9822 Had not even considered that possibility. Wow. It will all come to light at some point.
I think they got into another fight and he lost it and killed her. He was probably already very angry after she went in to apologize for what happened at the restaurant earlier that dayas well as the police having stopped them previously. Then he told his parents the following type of story: They were always fighting and Gabby was always hitting him. They got into another big fight and he left to go hiking and camping so she could calm down. When he returned, he found her dead. With the other couple already having been murdered while out camping he can blame her death on someone else. He returned home because he was afraid he would get blamed. What I think really happened, he got angry and lost it while they were hiking near where she was found and he killed her probably on the 27th late because that is when the strange texts were sent out. Not sure the timing of those texts about Stan or Yosemite. That could show better timing. It wasn't likely that he killed her while on that road where the van was taped. Too much activity and there was a red trailer or camper nearby when the family drove by and took the video the evening of the 27th. Also, it would have been difficult to get her body out there in the dark. Just my thoughts. Then, he went hiking and hitchhiking so he had an alibi and a story. They refused to answer any questions or let anyone know where she was so evidence could be lost because of the passing of time. Also, has anyone besides supposedly the family seen Brian after the 8th and the camping trip near his parent's home?
@@lb570 I agree with your thoughts on this.
The parents canceled their original camping trip scheduled for 9/1-3 for 2 people on the 31st and rescheduled for 3 people for 9/6-9/8. So they knew something prior to that date.
He took her phone, her van so do you think if even a friend or boyfriend maybe even a husband did that to you, tell me what you'd do?
Depends why he did it, in the video he claimed he was afraid of her leaving him because it was her van. I think he murdered her but he doesn't come across as a narc.
Actually, that admission he made to taking her keys and locking her out of her van was their best option to get the guy. They could choose from a list of crimes from that. Pull keys off a cop and say, "now go calm down" would have you racked with charges and medical bills you never heard of.
In the middle of nowhere, without water. And threatening to leave you there.

In Fl a mark on either face you are cuffed that would have saved her life. They have the same law so why no arrest her body frame. Sick how uneducated they are on psychology of abusers.
Taking the blame is typical for victim behavior.
That’s what has taken me back a bit. The second I saw the body cam video you can sense off the bat something is not right here. Furthermore as she is so quick to blame herself for all of this should’ve made the cops take a step back at that moment and reassess as to what is really happening here. I understand there are protocols in place etc etc but she’s was visibly in a lot of distress and that should’ve raised red flags immediately.
Narcissistic abuse is shift blaming he was blaming Gabby for everything. Who doesn't have OCD or anxiety I have both of them doesn't make us bad people. Living in a van and her blog were important to her. Her dad even said he was working on it with her.
She was given a 24hr head start, but they were a "team" ,she had plenty opportunities to run, especially when Laudrie flew back to FL on the 17th for 6 days...very immature for her age...i've met 16yr old German girls touring Australia/NZ on their own, they make Gabby look like a pre-teen!
But it’s also common behavior of good person who did something wrong and wants to admit it. So without history and evidence there isn’t anyway to tell in a brief encounter. Even a clinical psychologist would have trouble without history presented to them
Note to OFFICERS : ~~~~>>>It’s always the abused who looks hysterical and distraught (from long term abuse). The mild, charming person, is always the abuser.
If anyone ever feels that the guy is a “nice guy” and she is high strung; then know that you have fallen for the abuser’s “mask”, and remove the woman to protect her and get her to safety.
This is why I don't blame those officers tho. Most people just think the opposite.
At first people thought Gabby was the main offender, going by the comments on the first body cam video (I remember them, and a lot of people were on Brian's side at the time, but that was before he ran).
Rule of thumb for any relationship: when someone shows you who they are believe them because they will NEVER change.
Obviously that's written by a females perspective. Lol
i really don't think the police did anything wrong - both Gabby and Brian's story matched. they are officers, not psychologists. separating them for the night was a good move. they can't predict nor control everything people do.

Interesting you said that. I've had trouble sleeping and PTSD symptoms ever since this came down.
My gut tells me the first time they saw each other after being separated by police, Brian must have been stewing in rage and blaming Gabby for having put them in a situation where they were pulled over. There is proof that he locked her out of the van before so on the day of the murder, he likely confronted and blamed her, threatening to leave her behind in the wilderness and this resulted in a life and death struggle.
This sounds plausible and seems highly likely. She was already in a state of fear he was going to take off in her van and leave her behind somewhere.

@@thedesertdwellerfromutah4354 yep. My opinion
I’d say the Police aren’t feeling good about their decision now.
So they should have arrested her?
Yes but as situations go, I thought these officers were particularly sensitive and worked hard to decipher the facts. For some reason because of Gabby‘s admission and no complaint against Brian for physical abuse the officers did not get the facts right. I think more often than not I have seen officers get it completely wrong with all the information in front of them. In this case it was complicated, you cannot always predict the abusers level of sickness. The fact of the matter is there was no explanation for an altercation like that except somebody is being abused.
On Aug 12 the only admitted evidence that was not disputed (marks on Brian) was reason for arrest (by their law) but was left to a judgement call instead to the officer who stopped them. What they are reporting here is in conflict with the events on the body cams.
Regardless of who they think is guilty, detainment by Moab would have prevented this outcome either way! ;)

Yes, Brian's sister lied to the ABC News reporters about not seeing or speaking to him since he returned with Gabby's Van.
(Which fits in to the picture of the Laundrie family, the whole lack of empathy or ethical values, the Apples not falling too far away from the Trees and all.)
She clearly owes Gabby's Father an apology, or at least an explanation, because he used part of his limited press conference time the other day to publicly apologize to her for accusing her of knowing more than she was saying during that interview and it turns out he was right the whole time after all.
But, it's not like she's under any obligation to be honest to the press or us, out here in the public.
She's only exposed to criminal liability if she lied to investigators, police or the FBI Detectives, you know Law Enforcement.
She can say whatever she wants to anyone else.
But, is anyone really surprised?! I mean, it's not like we're talking about the most "Morally virtuous" group of people here lol to begin with.
(I'm just sayin' ✌)
Excuses, excuses, excuses. All this extra footage is being released in an attempt to counteract the original footage which showed a distraught Gabby being looked upon as a hysterical drama queen, while Laundrie was "one of the boys" because he had to "deal" with said hysterical drama queen, with one of the officers comparing the situation wth an ex wife. The fact that Laundrie was seen hittng Gabby by an independant witness was very quickly disregarded.
Yes! The officer that compared Gabby ro his ex-wife lost all objective thinking. He let his personal agenda and baggage interfere with correct policing policies in domestic violence cases.
100% Correct!
Where is this witness that saw Brian slapping Gabby? All the physical evidence, the separate statements from Gabby and Brian and statements from witnesses taken at the Blue Flower, all confirm that Gabby was the aggressor. Only the person who called 911 said the opposite and he is no where to be found.
I don’t know if I would agree with that. I do think they were doing what they thought was best. However they definitely needed DV training to spot that something was not right. No way a 5’8” guy joking around is the victim while his petite fiancé who is crying inconsolably is the aggressor. Really needed some experts to read that situation.
@@kj475 That is correct but some people want to make up their own story, not the one actually told by Gabby herself.
BRIAN AND HIS FAMILY SEEM TO BE VERY TOXIC
The officers fist pumped Brian when they left and were all laughing at Gabby. Women not being seen as equals is the problem. Brian convinced the officers effortlessly that she is crazy and that he was just trying to calm her down. She was hyperventilating saying he stresses her out sometimes he hit me he grabbed me and it got overlooked because it turned into a boys club. There’s so many signs that she’s being abused and they chose to go with the narrative that “women are crazy” I’m so disappointed.
The day she was murdered I would guess she was starting to fight back, after weeks traveling together in isolation I believe he snapped and she threatened to leave him when they got back from their vacation, or to end the vacation, and he grabbed her and choked her to death. He may've not realized he had killed her until it was too late, or he may've had so much rage that he didn't care. Either way, this type of impulsive sociopathic behavior needs to be contained behind prison walls and/or electric chair.
That's pretty specific 🤔 👀
@WAFFEN COLLIDER actually a witness saw him slap her and grab her by the face and she had a cut on her cheek. Yes she said that she hit him first but she could of been trying to protect him. That’s how abuse works. She could be so afraid of what would of happened after the cops left. At the end of the day she isn’t able to defend herself now.
Or she was breaking up with him! Women please, never break up with an abusive partner in isolated places, never remind him that you don’t love him anymore, do NOT say anything that triggers his anger for sale of your safety. Even non abusive men can become homicidal in this situations. Play safe! 🎀
I believe she attacked him physically one too many times.
How about the Sheriff not giving Laundries a Fist-Bump. They were investigating a motorist calling to report seeing Laundrie slapping Petito while driving. Not a High-Five situation. Of concern.
If the police had the balls to arrest a cute petite girl for domestic violence, she'd be alive today.
I’ve been saying the same thing. Even more now that it’s confirmed the cops knew he slapped her both by dispatch and her own words, whether she tried to downplay it or now doesn’t matter because the cops knew and that alone should’ve had them take it seriously but most importantly not fist bumping and cracking jokes while she’s crying her eyes out

Police and others must be trained in domestic violence where perpetrator blame shifts to the victim... extremely common !!!!
Extremely common? Name 3 cases.
Sounds like they were sympathizing with the aggressor, since at least one cop says he's familiar with dealing with "crazy" women. In this situation I thought maybe Brian manipulated the cops and he did, but there is the full context in which the police had preconceived notions based on their own lives and allowed that to influence the interaction. The baseline for this whole situation is women get crazy, men have no choice but to "handle them" and sometimes that means kicking them out of their own van (they thought he was the owner but he wasn't) and removing their only communication device, the phone they fought over. The areas in Moab UT are beautiful but they're not the kind of place you'd want to be abandoned. It's not like there were pay phones all over the place. Brian Laundrie had Gabby believing she was the problem. Yet, we know that's not true, since she's dead.
Its about what can be proved, otherwise police officers face a backlash of abuse.
I'm not schooled in domestic violence but I know it when I see it. It's their job to know this and how to assess the situation
And do what exactly lmfao? So if the attacker is a petite woman and tells officers she was the perpetrator and first to make physical contact, then that must mean they should arrest her boyfriend lmao?
The police are unbelievably incompetent in this case. Hopefully Dog finds Brian.
Dog will no doubt find the Dirty Laundry. Cat and mouse game continues.
I miss his wife Beth. RiP you sweet Angel.
He placed the blame on her,he told her to tell the police that she started the fight she was scared.
BS, those Officers did nothing but paint her as a crazy lady who can't control her anxiety. When that one said "my EX wife blah blah blah"... NEVER should of been said to her. NEVER. It's sick and the entire interaction was awkward and uncomfortable. They treated her like she was just a kid who's a brat or a ball of anxiety. Broke my heart. ❤RIP sweet Gabby...Dog WILL catch this bone..
No, that's how she painted herself. She appeared completely unhinged, she admitted to being the one who hit him first and he defended himself. She told the police that she had mental disorders though she's never been diagnosed.

I wish they sent her to a hospital. She'd been crying & inconsolable for over an hour. Clearly in distress. Gabby wasn’t “assuming the blame.” She told officers what happened. They were BOTH (yes, Gabby too) aggravated preceding the traffic stop and lashed out a bit. Whatever happened hours or days later is a separate incident.
Witness reports said that he was the aggressor slapping her and trying to keep her out of her van. And she hit him trying to keep him from leaving her. She assumed responsibility in that incident. You’re right that was a separate incident from him killing her afterwards
