In addition to putting up $10,000 towards the reward, "Dog the Bounty Hunter" says he received a tip that placed Laundrie's sister in Fort De Soto on Sept. 6 -- initial reports were only the parents went with Laundrie to the Pinellas County park. Let me make it clear for ALL officers: When you confront a situation like this in the near future, whereby a woman assumes the blame and responsibility for being abused by her significant other -- she is suffering from Battered Women's Syndrome, and it's a form of C-PTSD.
In this situation, the person who is accepting the blame needs to be taken down to the police station where she can FREELY speak to someone on the police force who is a trained psychologist or therapist. She must be allowed to freely speak her mind without her partner present to intimidate her.
When you have C-PTSD, you may not even be aware of it because you've been groomed and trained to accept the abuse in the relationshit.
At this critical stage, this individual needs to receive counseling in order to understand that she has been abused emotionally (at the least) and needs to be taught how to recognize abuse in all its forms, and get away from it.
We need the Gabby Petito law in order to help and teach abused women (and men) to take back their power and leave toxic relationships.

She should have drove out of Utah that night and left Brian there. She'd be alive today if she had. Lesson: Women - never, ever, ever be dependent on a man. Same goes for men. True but also ya never know a true person’s colours especially in just less than a year it takes way longer than that. He had one shady messed up past and tried to hide it, same for Brian’s parents who also closeted him . Should be a law that makes it standard practice for law enforcement and police and other authorities to be trained in psychology and abuse. Also a new public data base for people with a history of abuse or mental health issues so that a partner or gf or fiancé can check and look up about who they are with. It would work by if ya arrested for a similar offence it’s logged about their past on that data base and it’s public information. Only thing I would say to anyone in an abusive relationship to seek out help and to not brush it off if it’s seriously causing ya harm or physical abuse. Don’t ignore it and speak up . You’ll be saving your life potentially and the lives of others too.

I think they got into another fight and he lost it and killed her. He was probably already very angry after she went in to apologize for what happened at the restaurant earlier that dayas well as the police having stopped them previously. Then he told his parents the following type of story: They were always fighting and Gabby was always hitting him. They got into another big fight and he left to go hiking and camping so she could calm down. When he returned, he found her dead. With the other couple already having been murdered while out camping he can blame her death on someone else. He returned home because he was afraid he would get blamed. What I think really happened, he got angry and lost it while they were hiking near where she was found and he killed her probably on the 27th late because that is when the strange texts were sent out. Not sure the timing of those texts about Stan or Yosemite. That could show better timing. It wasn't likely that he killed her while on that road where the van was taped. Too much activity and there was a red trailer or camper nearby when the family drove by and took the video the evening of the 27th. Also, it would have been difficult to get her body out there in the dark. Just my thoughts. Then, he went hiking and hitchhiking so he had an alibi and a story. They refused to answer any questions or let anyone know where she was so evidence could be lost because of the passing of time. Also, has anyone besides supposedly the family seen Brian after the 8th and the camping trip near his parent's home?

(Which fits in to the picture of the Laundrie family, the whole lack of empathy or ethical values, the Apples not falling too far away from the Trees and all.)
She clearly owes Gabby's Father an apology, or at least an explanation, because he used part of his limited press conference time the other day to publicly apologize to her for accusing her of knowing more than she was saying during that interview and it turns out he was right the whole time after all.
But, it's not like she's under any obligation to be honest to the press or us, out here in the public.
She's only exposed to criminal liability if she lied to investigators, police or the FBI Detectives, you know Law Enforcement.
She can say whatever she wants to anyone else.

Sounds like they were sympathizing with the aggressor, since at least one cop says he's familiar with dealing with "crazy" women. In this situation I thought maybe Brian manipulated the cops and he did, but there is the full context in which the police had preconceived notions based on their own lives and allowed that to influence the interaction. The baseline for this whole situation is women get crazy, men have no choice but to "handle them" and sometimes that means kicking them out of their own van (they thought he was the owner but he wasn't) and removing their only communication device, the phone they fought over. The areas in Moab UT are beautiful but they're not the kind of place you'd want to be abandoned. It's not like there were pay phones all over the place. Brian Laundrie had Gabby believing she was the problem. Yet, we know that's not true, since she's dead.
