- On the 20th of February 2021, Mr Beast would tweet out about a CZcamsr named A4 from Belarus who had been copying his content, thumbnails & merch designs. A4 would reply to the tweet, and since, the ultimate showdown between each creator has begun.
A4, or Russian MrBeast, or Belarus Beast, is what many are calling an example of the rising plagiarism problem here on CZcams.

Fun fact: here in sweden there is a content "creator" that goes by the name of pontus rassmuson, and the funniest thing is he steals videos from MORGZ, and its the exact same script, idea, everything is the same. And the best part is that when morgz quit youtube, he did the exact same. He has brought copying to a brand new level, both copying someone who has already copied someone, but also coping when they quit youtube.

Mr beast has like 7 channels all in different languages like spanish and russian. He does this so everyone can watch his videos and pays actors and editors to change the subtitles and dub them and it doesent sound that bad.

He could try and shoot down A4 delete his hole Chanel but that will cause him a backlash against Russian audience not to mention CZcams itself after the Russia vs USA thing. It takes Jimmy months for his original content(the last challenge he made literally took weeks and it's only part one of the challenge), we can clearly see who puts more effort and quality into their own videos.

As a part of the Russian community I am really let down to what A4 has become. When I was younger I would watch his videos and they would actually be original, time consuming, quality content and actually good, but ever since the pandemic his videos started to look like other CZcamsrs content and in about the middle of 2020 his channel was dead(in originality and what he used to upload)

I have a Latvian family member that watches him all the time, I watched a few with him and they are not THAT bad. It's still sad to see this though. I asked him if he knew he was a copycat and he said he did, but he said he doesn't care that much as he is ok with the videos. He doesn't watch Mr beast because he can't speak English.

As a Russian person, that knows a lot about Russian CZcams since 2012, A4 is infamous amongst all of the Russian CZcams Community not just for stealing assets from other creators but also demonotising anyone who mentions them or uses a snippet of their video, no matter the reason it is used. Which made him hated amongst everyone except his general audience of young kids bellow 12. Which is an honest tragedy as children feed upon the mainstream, repetitive, uninforming content, instead of other content creators even amongst the Russian CZcams that create educational yet also entertaining content.

I was not introduced to mr beasts channel yet so when I first saw his videos I thought that he was copying from A4. sooner or later I realized what was going on and asked my little sister to watch the original creator which is mr beast. she was shocked by the difference in their understanding of quality content.

The fact that CZcams cant just delete these channels is absurd. As the technical owner of the content as they own both the platform and the channels, varying international copyright laws should be able to be avoided. Once again CZcams cares not for its creators and only about the money

This just makes me really sad, cause Jimmy has been my favorite youtuber for so many years. And he spends time on his videos. And it hurts that all that hard work is being copied to make money for others, and not the original creator.

This is probably why Mr. Beast started hiring people to dub his videos in different languages. He's got multiple versions of his channel so people who don't speak English can enjoy them. He's apparently really popular with spanish-speakers.
I like how you addressed both positives and negatives of A4's content, since you could have easily taken a side (especially if you knew your fans leaned one way or the other as well) instead of been unbiased.
i guess so, it makes sense but for me it was kind of the other way. Im a russian and im still a kid who got into english youtube like 6 years ago because i dont think any of the russian content is interesting anymore and i really liked a4, i was thinking that he gives his friends money for doing small challenges. This happens ALL THE TIME. I literally had someone stealing my thumbnails in the exact same way from a much bigger creator in another country. I copyright struck them and it never happened again, lmao. He actually begged me via email to remove the strike and said he had no idea.
I'm form Poland, and here the whole gaming community (Mainly minecraft) is just straight up ripped off foreign youtube im not talking about translating titles, thumbnails some of the videos are perfectly recreated which is amazing and disgusting at the same time. There are hundreds of channels that perfectly copy Dream's videos and have a couple hundred thousand subs on them and gain more by the day

Hungarian channel U2Row was a prime example of this copying, but they got banned. They did the same "translate-repackage" thing, but of course, in hungarian. They were also quite popular in their time.

I used to not like Mr. Beast's content, idk why, prolly how much he is killing the game, idk. But damn I've matured and now have a completely different perspective on him, he's a straight up genius. He also seems like a genuinely nice guy. I'm always too quick to judge with people, I'm working on that.

It always reminds me of Jenna Marbles and how someone was ripping her videos and re uploading them with a Russian dub. If I remember correctly they did give her credit and didn't claim it as their own but I still thought it was cool that she was like "yeah, they are putting work in. If I take it down, I feel like that would imply I plan to do my own Russian dubbing"
if i remember correctly, Polish CZcamsr Tidzimi had a copycat for a while. i don't know the current situation but basically someone outside Poland copied his videos and translated it. Tidzimi himself made video about that, mainly reacting
as a russian, i can totally say that only kids who are like 5-8 yrs old watch and admire him, but everyone else hates him here ofc
