The cassete you open and already see the seed frase, so basically unwanted people seeing could understand from the getcko what it is, while the capsule since you don´t see right a way the words is more stealthy. And the main thing we buy those is for stealth!

I kind of like the Capsule 💊 more. Very easy to store in multiple locations.
For now I still prefer the Ledger brand but won't mind giving this a try.

Nice vid. FWIW (and you’re probably aware by now given the age of the vid), but the cassette has been improved. You don’t slide the letters in from the end anymore. You undo the plate, drop them into the little four-letter recesses and screw the plate back on. The letters also come as tabs on four metal sheets now, just like letter stickers do, so you can break off the ones you need and put them into the cassette. You can also put a letter facing down if you want to use a space without the possibility of confusing it with another letter like on the capsule. This improvement gets the tick in favour of the cassette.
There is another category you could look at - Security.
You can do something with the cassette that you can’t do with the capsule - put a padlock on it to keep it locked. It’s not going to stop someone with an angle grinder, but it will stop a sneaky person from quickly opening and photographing the letters and draining your wallet. That said, if you are leaving your passphrase lying around you probably shouldn’t be doing self-custody.

what happens if you drop the capsule and the letters go all over the floor? Seems like an accident waiting to happen and risk of loss of seed phrase

yea if you lose your letter order, you effectively lose your recovery phrase. I've found both the Capsule and the Cassette to be pretty sturdy, but it might be worth having a backup just in case.

I haven’t tested it 😜 but …both, I guess? They’re both stainless steel. No reason for them to degrade over time
