One of the big motivators for me to start bullet journaling was the way you can track things so easily. It helped me get better treatment with my doctor since I get migraine and tracking other aspects helped show that there actually was no pattern. Sometimes no pattern is just as helpful as a tracker showing a pattern.
as a 15 year who has migranes as well i reallyyyyyyy understand this sooo well. It's quite important to track your migranes even if there is no pattern it kinda helps me mentaly idk why 🤣

I LOVE my first part of the year journal... so much so that I have used it every single day... so would it be selfish if I said I wanted this journal to complete my year? My spreads are beautiful, perfection, but this type of theme is everything I wish I could be as a journaler. LOL These are my favorite colors... those PET tapes? I have yet to be able to get my hands on any, but these are stunning!!! Whoever wins this.... man, they are super lucky! seriously, I have used your journal every single day since January... It changed my life, Erin! Thank you again... this setup is just perfection!
Love how well this journal came together. You're very good at colour themes and making separate types of washi themes work together. The name of the journal is appropriately whimsical.

Literally my most favourite color, and it's also the theme color for BTS 💜(SARANGAE ) which i LOVE💜! the things you said about goals is SOOO TRUE, like as a teen i really do struggle with that but i try to remind myself it's never to late to start, or even start again you know👍. I love the purple theme. I use a lot of purple in my journals because I think it’s so versatile. It’s neither too dark nor bright 💜
You might think that the green and purple colour scheme is repetitive, but it doesn't feel that way. Each set up in that colour combination have been unique and it feels like they get better with each one you make. I love this theme, it's beautiful, have a refreshing feel and it kind of just makes me smile. Very pretty ^^

I journal to keep track of my chronic illnesses and my mood. I have more bad days than good. However I want the good days documented for future me. ❤
I do tracking four different ways tbh. I track health related issues in a year in pixels type of tracker, once per month habits in a monthly tracker, once per week habits in a weekly tracker and my regular daily habits in daily trackers. I'm a very forgetful person and need especially the daily trackers to keep track of stuff like medicine intake, and as for the monthly and weekly ones they help me reflect at the end of the month on how my activity was and how I managed working towards my goals.
Anyway, I like the choice of decoration you chose for this start of journal setup. That purple floral washi tape especially is gorgeous.
I love your designs and ideas… got me started journaling as well. Instead of a reading journal, I made a gaming journal. Needed something to help me track my video game character building and stats

I have no luck winning stuff but I sure hope for this beautiful journal. Journaling has helped me be a better caregiver for my husband but I can never replicate, not even close, to your beautiful spreads. Besides, I was born in February and purple is my color 🥰 😁

Loved the future log on two pages. I put the entire year on a 2 pages spread in my journal but it feels cramped. I will try it on 4 page next year. And leaving a space between washi and top/bottom of the page for decorations ended up really nice..so I will be copying that spread is what I am saying 😁 and might try the same but on the sides just to see what it looks like

In the Adventure spread i would write down story titles for when I write my stories and I would write down my favorite friendship quotes. On the 2 spare pages I would put pictures

For the trackers the first time I tried using one I placed it at the start of the journal so yearly type. I ended up not flipping back to it when using the weekly so not useful for me. I tried on a monthly basis using a dutch door style (I see the tracker whenever I use my weeklies) so I have a tendency to use it and not forgetting. It does narrow the pages for the weekly and I can’t do some of the nice spreads that I like….. so I might try using a larger bullet journal next?

Beautiful journal! You have such a gift.
I track monthly, but translate that data to a yearly tracker. So lets say I track the # of days I drink at least 8 cups of water throughout a single month - When the month is over I'll go write on the yearly tracker the # of days for that month that I hit that goal. I repeat that every month and at the end of the year I can see how that fluctuated. It helps set goals month-to-month as well.
That makes so much sense to me - I do that with spending things! 😍

QUESTION: Do you have a journal you prefer for using paints or other wet mediums? Love your self care pages.
I’ve been using the Mellow Days Reverie journal, which has watercolour paper! If you like to paint in your journal a lot I’d recommend it, but if it’s only something you do occasionally I wouldn’t - it’s a lovely painting experience but a less enjoyable journaling experience for me 🥲

The full journal takes a solid few weeks when you factor in all the monthly setups as well, but if we’re talking about just what’s shown in this video - it was over two sessions 🥰
