  • The new MD5 is Discmania’s most overstable midrange in their line up. So how do you think it compares to its competition?

I mean, the guy who was throwing the MD5 and then the Justice threw the discs completly different from disc to disc. In that way I don't think he can compare the two in the right way sorta say.
Ofcourse if u put a disc on a massive anhyzer it will hold that line when it is that close to the ground.
But all in all a great video showing some differences between the discs.

Ya this wasn’t a great review of the two

That was pretty big to put the fat daddies from each brand against each other, respect. Really love the profile on those color glow MD5s, like you took an imprint of the crease of my palm and built a rim around it.
Utility and im3rd sparking it up with the daredevil dronedry, really looking unreal. "Michael Bay reviews discs?", I thought.

Nice comparison! Though it would've been sweet to have the Deflector lined up, too.

Great review would have loved to see more flight out of each one in the open but nonetheless awesome video

How is this disc different from a Gator other than stamp? From a quick glance it looks like the same mold.

Christopher Higgins The feel in the hand is a little different as most of the Glow and first stock run have the “blizzard” crystallized rim look and feel. The MD5 has very little glide like the flat top glow Gator, but the MD5 has a slight dome.

How does the md4 compare to the md3? More glide...less glide?

Bobby Swain it has similar glide, but the MD4 has more fade at the end of its flight. A new Glow Eagle MD3 that is stamped as the 5503 is pretty similar to the C-line EO MD4

      The new Eagle MD3s are 5 5 0 2....? Only the 1st runs were 5 5 0 3. The new ones are less stable than a normal C line MD3.

The MD3 has more glide than an MD4 only due to the lack of fade. It will keep going straight instead of start heading left into the ground. Slight exception to this is the Metal Flake MD4 and the P line MD4. They have more glide than an MD3, but still with the MD4 fade. The result is a equal distance flight but it will land having faded left a good amount. The normal MD4 is board flat with very little glide and a consistent usable fade. I bag Eagle MD3 for straight shots and lines I need to hold a constant angle, MF MD4 for OS backhand, C line MD4 for OS Forehand, and MD5 for meat hook utility needs. The MD5 is very OS but has enough glide to make it usable.

@@ZachTheDiscmaniac a little off. When the MD4 came out they adjusted the MD3 numbers, but didnt touch the mold. They felt that 5/5/0/3 was not accurate. The MD3 should have been 5/5/0/2 but the first runs were labelled poorly. With the MD4 being 5/4/0/3 they wanted to make sure people realized that the md4 has more fade, so they fixed the md3.
