A helpful tip I learned - keep a pair of gloves by your bedside and practice putting them on AND taking them OFF. Just go back & forth between inside out and then back right side out again during practice (doesn’t matter which side is which with nitrile gloves). Also, follow-up video idea - show proper degloving & disposal technique too - very important for your personal protection & safety that most people outside of healthcare don’t even know or think about.

Good stuff guys! I’ve had to use my Mountain Man Medical Trauma Kit 4 times. 2 of those were car wrecks. Also, Jacob don’t beat yourself up over the gloves. I forgot to put my gloves on all 4 times 😂

As a licensed healthcare provider, never never never provide medical care in the situations you are describing. You’re setting yourself up for a lawsuit…

Totally disagree. Good Samaritan laws protect citizens from lawsuit as long as they are aren’t preforming invasive procedures (needle D, crike, etc.) they haven’t been certified for. Simple procedures, like Tourniquets, chest seals and wound packing are things anyone could, and SHOULD do to save a life.
