Sometimes you just got to look at reliability, ability to get parts in the country you ride in, durability, maintenance cycles of the bikes and range. Horse power becomes a mute point because it is not a race or contest. You can only ride the speed limit. You don't want fames cracking. Some BMW adventure bikes are known for that. I believe Ewan McGregor experienced a cracked frame in his BMW. Just food for thought. Because if you are in the middle of nowhere and all you got is your money in your pocket and your bike, then; you need to know your bike will perform and get you where you need to go without breaking down.
12:45 when referring to smart phone connectivity, you have to remember both Apple Play & Android Auto. It doesn't matter about fan favorites, people use both and if you provide details be concise. I own an Android and an iPhone, I would like to know if I can use either, not just the iPhone with my bike.

That’s a very good point and exactly the reason why I’ve always ended up favoring reliable bikes over fancy ones.
