As someone studying in a field of (medical) science at a prestigious university, watching this video is the first time I have truly had faith in God's existence and his love for us. I felt myself getting close to tearing up (which never happens) when he answered all the questions that were holding me back from being a faithful Christian even though I wanted to have faith so badly for so long. It's crazy how the thing that initially drove me away from Christ is the thing to bring me back into it. This man is great and he definitely changed the course of my life

There may be more to the story than one might suspect. Also the term used for "days" in Genesis in biblical Hebrew can mean a literal day, but also eons, or about any span of time. It depends on context. The best argument for literal 24 hour days is that generally (but NOT always) when used in an ordinal way it usually means 24 hour days. If I remember correctly there are at least a couple of occurrences were it means other than that when used in a ordinal way. There are at least two camps among theologians on this issue. It is not cut and dried, and anyone's exegesis is in the end only opinion. Moreover, these details are not critical to the two many personal goals we have as Christians. One is to be saved, and the other is to conform to the likeness of Christ. These questions are interesting, and great fodder for discussion, but in no way should be divisive in the body of Christ.

I'm at this video because I always want to know what christians think about certain topics. I'm not close minded. Next time ask before assuming. Babies born with terminal cancer. Their time was up before they could even learn about any God or make any type of decisions on their own. They die before developing critical thinking skills. Others are born with diseases that cause them to suffer for years on end. There’s no God involved.
It´s very hard for the human mind to understand such an immense love by Our Creator and Holy Father, which created such a big Universe in order to sustain our planet, that is a proof of how much our Creator loves us!

The fact that this man is happy and full of life is nice for him. Having faith in God might have caused this, but the fact that your belief in a God makes you happy is bij no means prove for the actual existence of God. I used to be agnostic, leaning toward atheism, until I picked up this book called "The Essential Zohar." Blew my mind. Put a lot of things into perspective. Ever since then I kept researching and finding more evidence to connect the pieces. Really, many of the churches simply fail to give REAL education to their members on the truth about God. They mostly give a bunch of half-truths and empty interpretations.

Keep in mind that Christ is also referred to as “the Lamb of God”, because he laid down his own life for his flock.
Being a shepherd is being the protector and caregiver to a flock, the flock is vulnerable and open to danger without the shepherd.
God is revealed through creation. We all know he exists innately. Sin makes us doubt God and reject him. God must grant faith to a person, it cannot be acquired through natural means.
Without faith, God’s truth will sound weird to a non-believer. God commands us to spread the gospel with gentleness and perhaps will give the faithless a little faith.

This video is short but probably the best when it comes to showing the existence of God. For myself, the more I contemplate on science, the more I see God does exists and strengthen my beliefs.
It's mind boggling that some people don't believe that a creative intelligence is behind creation. I mean, this infinite and powerful Being created a man and a woman and gave them the power to create/multiply. In my mind He gave us some of His infinite power at creation. I appreciate his wisdom. My grandpa was my pastor when I was young. He loved the creation story and talked on it often. He told us the 6 days of creation were very long periods of time. He has long been gone but I appreciate Dr. Ross's deep insight as he continues to bring light.

Tim H Well there isn’t any physical evidence but the prophecies that he said many years ago are becoming true. One was that Israel would become a nation again which happened in 1948, and that generation will not come to pass. A biblical generation is 70-80 years which means the latest the rapture will happen is 2021. Before the end times, he said the rain would be held back(Australia fire), people will be more offended, there will be pestilence(Coronavirus), rumors of war(WWIII), locust resulting in famine, and earthquakes happening around the same time. And yes these happen and there have been worse times but it’s the frequency. Also ID2020 is an international tracking system that involves a microchip being inserted.Bill Gates and Rockefeller’s family have been focusing on it to maybe put the vaccine in it.This is possibly going to be the mark of the beast. It prevents you from buying or selling if you don’t have it. Another thing is the Bible said before the end times, people will travel to and fro( which we have in the form of planes), and intelligence will increase greatly. You can choose to believe or not but you’ll know the truth when the rapture happens and people suddenly disappear. And don’t be surprised when you hear the words”depart from me” on judgement day because you were warned.

P's I was a very skeptical person, when i was younger i had 2 of my older sisters who were Born Again Christian's i actually was mocking them one afternoon we were at my mother's house and my mom had a friend over Jackie, and I had teamed up making jokes at them telling them that the churches were locked up ect, so it started to get dark outside and I said what if I needed god, now the church is locked just being very sarcastic, my older sister said to me if I needed God then that church door would be open I laughed at her and said let's take a ride I fully expected the church to be locked up it was a weeknight around 8 p.m. so we took a drive about 10 minutes away from my home and when we arrived at a Pentecostal Church, myself and my sister got out of the car went up to the door of the church I pulled on the door and it was locked of course I was laughing there was another set of doors so my sister said let's try them by this time Jackie and everyone else was out of the car my sister pulled on the second set of doors and it opened up. I was like wow ! We entered the church that none of us have ever been into my sister who was from out of town was able to turn the lights on and everything else. I decided to go up to the altar and deal down Jackie and my two sisters join me I begin to pray all of a sudden I heard put your hands up and don't move yes the police were there behind us. I was scared like nothing you could imagine then they put us in handcuffs as they were planning on taking us to jail the pastor of the church arrived because the police I called them he told the police officer someone really needs God I'm not pressing charges I was just here and I personally lock the doors and turned on the alarm the officer said the alarm never sounded the officer stated he seen the lights on an he knew that the church was closed and that's why he thought we were robbing the place. Again the pastor of the church spoke up and said I am not pressing charges someone here needs God, you better believe that Sunday, I decided to go to church with my sisters who by the way were visiting from out of town. I smoke and I drank i was far from perfect. Still i went to the church, I never in a million years would have expected what was to come ? The power of the Holy Ghost came over me it was the greatest High I have ever felt in my life. Needless to say I had quit smoking quit drinking and changed my life for the better.

For some time I found it hard to feel that something so powerful and divine could create such an enormous universe, un-ending. But the more I thought and read and looked into God and his word, I understood that none of this couldn't have been made without something so divine in power and well, a God.
It's always terrified me of what there is and what happens after death, where we go, if it's just complete blackness, ect. After really diving in and accepting Jesus Christ and God I know I shouldn't live in fear but live in happiness to know one day I'd be accepted and live in peace.
You should study cosmology then if you think the universe can only exist due to a supernatural reason. How was your experience before you were born? There’s no evidence after death will be any different than what it was like before birth.
Well I do believe in a source/Creator/intelligent mind of all things, but you shouldn't base your belief on the fear of death. When you die, you wouldn't even know you are dead, you would just be returning to your initial state(what ever you were before you were born) and no, you wouldn't be seeing blackness.

@James Farley I was raised neutral. I went to church and I learned about the bible. Besides this I learned about science (how the universe works, evolution, ...). And through this neutral way of being raised, and a lot of thinking until into my 20's, I became an atheist.
I'm guessing you come from a very religious background. My advice to you: don't just accept everything people tell you. Be open to other explainations. Dare to think in other ways than is being told to you. You're young, all options are still open for you.

I love watching things like this. The universe always amazes me, how everything really revolves around us, that we truly are the ultimate Creation of God. No I don't have any degrees and don't consider myself intellectual, but I do have common sense, something schools can't teach, and to me there's no other option thn a creator. Yes too much of everything can kill a person that's why one must have faith in God because no one can see God ànd live, although God shown himself through his son's name Jesus Christ. God always finds a way to connect with us. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD, HE IS STILL IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING. I REPEAT EVERYTHING AND SOME.
Faith brings anyone to any conclusion so of what value is it? NONE. Be honest and expect evidence and verification of any claim anyone makes.

I am sad that you have come to these conclusions due to the lack of true believing Christians in this world whom read but do not hear the voice of God. But faith is simply hope. And it is not a blind path as someone might have falsely told you. Who ever told you such things about a Christians faith is really in jeopardy of true faith. As a true Christian I follow the bible. And the bible doesn't say that faith brings one to any conclusion.

Wanna have a laugh? let's assume there's this man, woman or entity who is eternal, is capable of defying the laws of nature and created the whole thing. Sounds like a good explanation to you? At least we know the 'explosion', as you call it, actually happened. from there on we can pretty much explain how the universe came about and how life originated. It does not require a God. There are still lots of questions left. Filling in the gap with 'God' is very unsatisfying to me. In the early days people did the same thing explaining lightning, rain, the mountains and everything else they did not understand. "God has to exist, otherwise I can't understand it all" does not really make any sense.
If the IDEA of a God comforts you, I wish you the best. That might work of course :).
