  • Mauricio Pochettino admitted "it would not be the end of the world" if he left Chelsea this summer.
The Blues manager believes it is not just up to Chelsea's owners to make a decision on his future, and that he will also have a say on where he will be next season.
Pochettino was adamant he is not unhappy in west London, but reiterated that he and his coaching team need to have a conversation with the hierarchy at Stamford Bridge at the end of the campaign.
Chelsea have ensured a mixed first season under the former Tottenham boss, who joined the club last July.
However, the Blues picked up successive victories over London rivals Tottenham and West Ham, putting them in contention for a European spot.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea's trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Pochettino said: "If we are happy then it's perfect, but it's not only if the owners are happy because you need to ask us also because maybe we are not happy and we need to split.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said he will be on his best behaviour to avoid receiving a touchline ban, which would rule him out of taking his place in the dugout for his final game in charge at Anfield against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 19th May.
Following last weekend’s 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur, a third-place finish is all but cemented for 'The Reds' this season.
If Manchester City and Arsenal both win their weekend fixtures it will mean that Klopp’s men are unable to catch either side at the top of the table, even if they claim a victory at Aston Villa on Monday.
The game at Villa Park will be Klopp's last away match in charge of Liverpool.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admitted he has visualised his players lifting the English Premier League trophy next Sunday as the battle with Manchester City for the title goes into the final two weeks of the season.
The Gunners have a one-point advantage over Manchester City with two games left to play, away at Manchester United on Sunday and then at home to Everton a week later.
But Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand which means Arsenal need to win both of their remaining fixtures and hope for City to drop points if they are to claim a first title since 2004.
City play first this weekend, travelling to London to face Fulham in Saturday’s early kick-off, and are on course to claim a sixth championship in seven years and an unprecedented fourth Premier League title in a row.
Pep Guardiola’s side haven’t lost a league game since the 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa in December and beat the Gunners to title last season despite Arteta’s men topping the table for a record 248 days.
Arsenal travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to face a Manchester United side struggling to avoid their worst finish in the Premier League era as they sit eighth after Monday’s damaging 4-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.
But the pressure will be on Arsenal as they need to take the full three points from a ground where they have only won once in the league since 2006.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke to the media ahead of his side’s Premier League trip to Fulham on Saturday.
City have the chance to return to the top of the league standings for the first time since November with a victory over the 'Cottagers' as rivals Arsenal do not play until Sunday.
With just three games left to play, Guardiola’s men know that winning their remaining fixtures would guarantee a fourth consecutive Premier League title, regardless of results elsewhere.
