  • The biggest country in Africa, with the largest chunk of the biggest hot desert in the world.
    This is NOT a motorcycle travel vlog, do not expect cinematic videos and amazing edition. My primary goal was to enjoy the travel.
    This video is intended to provide useful information for travelers willing to go to this beautiful country.

    Usually in Algeria during ramadan most restaurants take their annual leave (holiday) to rest and make some changes in their restaurants and then open again after eid so if you decide to come again the best time to visit is summer for the north and spring or autumn for the south. You're welcome anytime 🙌🏻🇩🇿

      Thanks for your insight! Appart from big cities, restaurants were closed everywhere. But late at night a few grills/barbecue places usually open, and they are very good! I will definitely return to Algeria, best people I've ever met!

    Good video man! Hope we can see a bit more riding footage in the next one. I have the same model transalp and your videos help a lot!

      Hi man! I'm definitely including more riding footage, but the audio was messed up, so I'll try to make it watchable for everybody.

    Its a bikers event in Algeria where a lots of bikers from all over the world meet and drive along the Mediterranean coast from May 6th to 9th or 10th

      Glad to know! During my stay I only saw 4 or 5 big bikes, mostly sportbikes, but they all belonged to Algerians working in Europe and were all on european plates. I crossed two adventure bikes on my way to the return boat, they were equipped for travel. On the way back, my bike was the only one on the boat.

    Hi, I’m thinking of buying a transalp , which would say was better , the 650 or 700.
    Cheers loving the videos

      They are both good bikes. 650 is better for offroad and roads in bad conditions, 700 is more powerful, stable and comfortable for smooth roads. Cheers!

    Hey ! Amazing than you for the video. I have a question. I am thinking about buying an old Transalp and i was wondering wich one you recommend more for both offroad (60% of the time) and road (40% of the time ), the 2005 stock model or the 2007 stock model? I see that you have had both ! Could you tell me the differences for you?
    Thanks

      @coastrider8881  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi there! For your use I would definitely choose a Transalp 650. The 700 is very capable for offroad, but the 650 is definitely better, which will be your main use. Cheers!

      Thanks for you'r reply! May I ask what makes the 650 better? Griund clearence, suspension...?

    • @coastrider8881
      @coastrider8881  Před 2 měsíci

      @@niladaliaibarrola Less weight, front 21" wheel, slightly more ground clearance and front suspension travel, more fuel range for long travel legs, less electronics (carburated instead of injection, and a lot less sensors). The 700 have more overall comfort, more power at any rpm, and the ABS model can be handy on slippery roads likes the ones I encountered in Algeria.
