    Portsmouth fanatic, we’re hitting the ball all the park recruiting wise so let’s just be appreciative of what we’ve got and what we’re getting soon, thanks so much my friends.

    Its not who you miss on that hurts your program. Its the guys you get that don't contribute anything of any value to the team.

    When Brew backed out a couple months ago at the very least he should have been trending away from Ohio State. Don’t follow him enough to know if he wants to be a CB or S but getting the 1 and 2 corner in the class would make most anyone who wants to play CB look somewhere else. With that said, I think I’d rather have Sanchez and Brew in the bank than to have Offord make a lot of visits.
    The Glover facet is interesting. This is why they shouldn’t press to fill a roster spot. If a person isn’t looked at the year before and did nothing at the school he committed to, how did OSU get interested in him.

    Sorry to miss all Scoop loyalists, but I cannot travel alone to distant destinations. July 30th golf outing is local, hope to be able to attend that and meet you all in the MASSIVE chat room almost every evening. O-H-I-O, GO, BUCKS! And, a salute to veterans and all who have served, living and deceased in defending USA freedom and stability in the country in a daunting fight now!

    Brew thinks of himself as a CORNER….. NOT as a safety and that’s where he wants to play at in college. Also, most people had Brew down to OSU and Texas with Oregon a distant third. USC may have been a distant fourth but not really in it.

    What they talkin bout? On3 had him going oregon for a awhile. Several analyst.. in fact the largest one steve wiltfong

    • @MrBuckeye1405
      @MrBuckeye1405 Před dnem

      Huh? Steve wilfong had him going to OSU as did Bill kurelic who don’t CB without good intel. Brew either had good poker face or something changed late like it did last year with Justin Scott. It was supposed to be OSU, USC, Texas.

    Oregon got shredded against Washington last year? They lost both games by three points and one on a last minute missed field goal to tie. Is that being shredded? They had the 9th best defense in the country and numver 2 offense in the country. They are no lightweight

    No wonder Lanning wanted to stay at Oregon... I grew up in Eugene when the Ducks sucked. They now have the
    best resources and one of the best young coaches so don't hate on us to much. Lanning is playing by the rules.
    Some kids/families need the bag.

    Glover wasn’t good enough to play at OSU. It’s that simple. To go back to Northwestern tells me there was not a great market for him. If there was such a “brotherhood” with these two guys then Brew should have committed to NW. If Brew is going to Oregon it’s a combination of DB depth chart and NIL
    The recruitment isn’t done. The bottom line is… you’ll win some you’ll lose some.

      It could be leverage but there are issues with him just up and leaving his HS team that was brought up in the broadcast that would give me pause in offering the most money. If Oregon topped OSU in money I would just stop the recruitment and double down on McNutt.

    Dorian Brew decided months ago that he was not going to play corner back with the ones who were recruited with him. He went to the money not what was best for him.

      So you know why he went? That's crazy. Do you know him personally. You know whats best for him lol. Probably wants to run track also since his parents ran track and Eugene is Track town USA. Lots of factors might have gone into his choice i'd imagine.

  • @thomasridley458
    @thomasridley458 Před dnem +1

    Buckeyes deserved the burn on Brew, because if Nigel Glover is Brew's cousin, and they are more or less have a brother-like relationship. Shame on the Buckeyes for not knowing that landscape. They brought Glover in from the portal and didn't use him in 2023. I see this not as a huge hit, but as a self-inflicted wound for not knowing touch points with players, just my opinion. This was an Ohioian kid who was highly rated.

Anyway lost on how to connect here if anyone could shout at me. I would enjoy some correspondence with some intelligent members that could help me understand what happened to urban Meyer in the NFL and such.
