I've Bought 3 PRS SE Bernie's. One in Black and 2 Maple tops , the neck is just great. I put in Pearly Gates in the neck and a Custom in the bridge. I'll be getting a new bone neck and have a fret job and set up. New Tuners are on the way. Not that there is anything really not to like but the way it's shipped but after paying 350.00 dollars on the guitar. I am spoiling myself. Besides I bought a Les Paul and the static on the neck was outrageous and the part not up too the old standard. PRS SE's are just great as a guitar and a platform for those of us like moding guitars.

I've got a PRS BM exactly like this one, in piano black, and it's the best guitar I've ever had. The only changes I've made is fitting some Axetec black knobs which disappear into the finish, and I've swapped the volume knobs round so that the one for the bridge pickup is on top. This puts them out of position in relation to the pickups, but I tend to live on the bridge, so I wanted the volume for that to be the first one that I came to. I know some people have swapped the pickups for something exotic, but I'm not sure that it's worth the bother, as the standard PRS models that it comes with sound great. The thick neck is perfect, the frets are low, which I like, and it's really heavy, which makes it feel like a proper weapon. These guitars are fantastic. Get one : )
Amazing! Saw Bernie live with Whitesnake many moons ago, of course playing a different style at the time. Knew he could handle this stuff, but to see & hear it is great. I like how he insisted his signature guitar would be affordable.

Obviously he had the chops…you don’t play with Deep Purple alumni David Coverdale & Jon Lord if you don’t have lightning fast fingers…but his taste and tone and arrangement skills made Whitesnake a household word in their own right!
