I think the worst part about this race is the fact that you have 40 cars on the track and only 5 of them were competitive all the other cars are just riding around the track this format has killed this track potential for good racing.
42 clearly just moved over for the 4 on the 100 to go restart. I mean, if that's the format, why even bother with the rest of the field.
I have an odd feeling that they bend the rules a little for the championship 4 cars

@@joeking9800 Yeah I'm glad you noticed. Before the playoffs era, the champion contenders seemed to have pretty normal cars for the most part. Now that we have the playoff format, it seems like the final 4 ALWAYS have the best 4 cars, maybe with 1-2 others like Larson mixed in. I'm surprised that I've never seen this fact brought up on youtube.
Of course, then you end up going down a rabbit hole of conspiracies like Danica's pole at Daytona in her first ever race, Dale Earnhardt Jr's Pepsi 400 win at Daytona in 2001 where he was able to pass people without drafting... you start to wonder to what extent NASCAR is rigged when the odds are so frequently defied.

Was a fan, gave up when our started pricing is out of track camping. I was going to ask that question. What obvious mechanical advantage do they give the four? Do they actually act like they don't have any advantage? I'm serious here. Do people really believe there is not?

Thank goodness I watched the great Xinfinety race Saturday night. I switched back and forth Sunday between this race and the NHRA Pomona race coming quickly to the conclusion that the drag racing was far more entertaining. Congratulations to the 18 team and JGR on your 2019 championship.

False. There were many, but they focused on the four men in the last four.

if you watch the rewind or the full race on NASCAR channel they will not focus on 4 only
2011 Homestead was my favorite championship race.

I really hoped the last finale at Miami would be at least a decent race. Only ten cars on the lead lap, 4 second lead, and seriously questionable team choices led to this being one of the worst races of the season.
12:25 - 14:18 was the only semblance of something fun to watch, and hopefully we'll get more of that in March.

This is the format! It provides great racing, cliffhangers and at the end you have the most successful drivers and teams racing each other head to head. And this year the best of the regular wins. I guess you could know who won the championship 7 races before the end of the season like happened under your precious system and then you just wait for the season to end, that's exciting!

Watching the 42 just move over for the 4 on a restart, and numerous other examples all race long, is all anyone needs to see to understand why grandstands are being removed. Sad really.

Its true that Kyle Busch has win the championship, but feeling very emotional and sad for Denny Hamlin because he has done 2019 very superbly with 6 wins. How hard it will for him that he could not win the championship. Really tears in my eyes. Hit a like if any one agrees with me.

Martin truex jr. got some balls! This man literally had a problem that took minutes in pit row and finished 2nd place

Simple Question: Why was anyone other than the final 4 racers even on the track? I mean for goodness sake what a joke that was. Anyone who would pay for a ticket to that is crazy. Why didn't they flip a coin for the title. That would have made more sense.

@@teebrown8683 It didn't look sold out to me either. I know they said it was. And there was a decent crowd. But it looked like they covered up and closed off a bunch of seats on the ends of the stands. They do that at other sporting venues to bunch the crowd up for tv.

Another four car race with 40 cars driving around. Ten good drivers sitting back in the field not even trying. This is a good reason not many fans show up. Remember all the drivers that beat dale? Nobody comes close like that at all. I polished all my shoes and listened to the race, so I got something out of the race.

Wow exciting have the championship four start in top four spots. How about have the championship four draw for starting position or have all four start at the tail end of the field. Better yet get rid of the chase bring back the old points system
Denny Obviously needed that championship, he was the only driver that was in the final four that didn't win the title, and one of the drivers who were in the championship 4 is a person who finds accidental wrecks a VERY Big deal.

The cars are screwing the racing over. Homestead can have great racing, we all have seen it.
Don't blame the track, this was the first time Homestead had a bad race. It's the low horsepower and high downforce that worsened the mile and a half tracks.

Championship race should be decided by one of 2 things. By nascar fan votes or by a random lottery draw of the track its to be ran at. All tracks put into a lottery ball drawing and the one picked they have to race at or the track that all fans pick the most has to be raced at every year for the championship. I say the lottery ball option is the best, cause if fans can vote it would be Daytona or Dega every time lol.
There’s not enough cars that are up to speed. It’s just 10 cars trying to race around 30 other obstacles. Need spec motors. Nobody can compete with the big teams like back when nascar was huge. When it comes down to setup and driver it makes for way better racing. We all know Money buys speed in nascar. If you wanna turn the sport around make it a drivers battle not a money battle

I grew up with this track and grew up in Miami but this race was totally terrible

It is odd that happens practically every year now. I remember the year Gordon got knocked out in the round of 8, showed up at Miami and was leading at first, car was super fast. Then suddenly, for no reason, he just fell back, way back, and the tv analyst never even mentioned him. Its like he was told to get out of the way. Same thing with Larson. He always looks strong at Miami, then he "has a problem ".
I said in 1995 that is was the WWE on asphalt, it's rigged, any time that much money is involved there is corruption.

If anyone thinks my boy didn't deserve the championship, he was really the only final four driver to not make a mistake at homestead. Harvick didn't have anyproblems on his car, but he had a better short run car than a long run car. Blige the stages, there was only one real caution. KYLE DESERVED IT!!! IT!!!

No. Kansas and Atlanta was terrible. It's not even the tracks, it's the high downforce NASCAR put on these cars after they took away horespower. It made drivers run nearly wide open and they have no control and were caught in very dirty air.
Kansas was entertaining but they need to give that Horsepower or something because Miami ain’t fun to watch at the end I mean I know they changing it to Phoenix

As usual I was in front of the TV to watch the last NASCAR race of the year. What a disappointment, My tv screen was divided into 5 squares one each of 4 of them a camera recording them on 4 of the squares on the TV screen the 5 th block had a add which stayed on the screen. The only racing we really saw was the 4 contenders except when one of the championship 4 was in traffic. Never got to watch the race action just 4 pictures of 4 cars. Worst TV coverage I have ever seen. I will never do it again if they decide to try again. Why experimenting on what is their biggest race of the year and ruin it with their experiment ???
