- I'm on the northwest coast of Sumatra Indonesia, visiting a crazy place called the Warung Siamang! Wild "Siamang", a type of gibbon are a regular visitor of this cafe, and although I've been here many times this is the first time I've actually seen them! They're an endangered animal, with possibly less than 200 000 left on earth. Smaller than the great apes, and bigger than monkeys, they're considered their own group as a "lesser ape". Ergonomical terrain for prime apes would be luxurious? Guarding systems to deter eagles & snakes? Tables need an on ramp platform to walk up/down & sit in front of patrons and food to enable more harmonious interactions & sharing. Sweet resteraunt.
