He modified CB so that she can count the kids and when only one remained “Elizabeth” which she was designed to either capture and put a kid inside CB storage tank or kill or a kid being crushed on the spot. I believe William created CB to capture kids. I also think he knew Elizabeth wouldn’t listen and go to CB. He put remnant on the scooper and when Michael got scooped the remnant caused him to be immortal. He said he was proud of Michael after he killed C.C. I’m trying to go by canon here here. C.C ended up possessing Golden Freddy. No clue about Mrs. Afton cuz Scott didn’t really verify her. For all we know she’s MIA and that only 4 Aftons are really canon. We all know how the Aftons died. Even if they are immortal fire can still end them. Only William survived as GlitchTrap. So I think it’s mainly William’s fault.
