Every interview I’ve watched with The Bee Gees, they are all so open and honest. They never stray away from letting us know the human emotion of their lives. They are open and honest which makes me respect and admire all of them so much more….if that’s possible. Maurice, Robin, Andy and Barry….all class acts and all of them will be remembered for eons. Awesome.
I can’t believe four handsome, sexy, and very talented all came from the same family. They were gorgeous and had the greatest personalities ever. In other words, I love these guys and their music is incredible! Rest In Peace Andy, Rob and Mo. you are truly loved and missed. ❤️🌹❤️
Oh I absolutely love Robin, so sexy, gorgeous and that voice. I love the Bee Gees. I can well understand why it was difficult to sing that song. I loved Andy too. Robin was my favorite. Miss them all so much. RIP Andy, Maurice and sweet Robin.
This group of guys are in a league of their own, no one has been able to meet their level of expertise, their talents are without equal. It's like they are so tuned in to each other, one could start a sentence and the others can complete it.
You can tell Barry, Robin and Maurice loved their little brother Andy but they just didn't know how to help him out. Barry was right Andy had a lot of problems that just couldn't be fixed. I am so sad Andy died so young. Also sad Robin and Maurice are no longer here either. The Gibb brothers was one extremely talented family.
I understand Barry in my case I can relate myself to Andy in so many levels I go through alot of problems in life I go through big depression and there's times in which I wanna give up and ik I got friends that always there for me but it just things that doesn't go away no matter how much love you get you can't get enough of feeling depressed and no one can't help you but you and it's hard so I also understand Andy in certain ways he been through alot that no one knew but at least he's not suffering no more💙
They were just kid's that loved to sing and wanted to be famous. That was their dream and they accomplished that and it wasn't easy. They deserve a lot of credit for all the hard work and all the years. They never gave up. All they wanted to do was sing. 🎶
It's a absolute shame Andy was going to be a permanent member of the band, but we lost him before it happened. Having four Gibb brothers in one unit would have been unbelievably creative.
ikr I first saw maurice as a child I was blown away I knew he was wayyy older than me and remember telling my mom he was my boyfriend she laughed and said I see why you like him he cute I said who said he cute i like the way he talk lol been that way since he is gorgeous but I like his intelligence
Love it when Mo says to Barry "let me finish" when talking about Andys song. Love Barry but he was always interrupting Mo and Robin in interviews!! Love these guys!!!!
If you watch it again, you'll notice that Robin also objected when Mo said they couldn't sing it live. It wasn't just Barry. Robin and Barry were both thinking technically, while Mo was talking about the emotional difficulty.
Yes Barry seemed to think he was the front man, the writer, best singer (once he realised he had a falsetto sound) And always wanted to be the main man. Me I adored Robins voice snd Maurice's magic with harmonies, it took a while for the twins to be seen as equal in Barrys eyes
I could listen to Robin speak all day. Several years ago I sent him a message telling him he could teach angels how to sing. I can hear Bee Gee songs playing in heaven in my mind. Legends!
Andy`s death hit the brothers hard, but probably Maurice the hardest. He fell off the waggon and started binge drinking again, was even on the verge of distroying his marriage and could hardly cope with the grief. So he`s rightly trying to avoid singing „wish you were here“ on stage, as a measure of self-protection. At least, at that point.
Robin explained the variety of music so may people wanted. He was very deep and emotional. He changed and improved so much until the end. He was very successful in Europe with number one songs. The US didn’t promote, so we missed out to an extent. It was great dance music plus he did great changes with his voices. It did show he could be a solo Superstar. I love and miss you Robin and Mo. Rest In Peace Rob and Mo. Thank you for all the joking on stage and showing what fun guys you were. Thank you for the wonderful music! ❤️🌹❤️

Just never get tired of listening to them talk and interview,,,,,,,watching them sing and perform,,,,,most interesting family story,,,,,,,,,they seem so ordinary,,,,down to earth,,,"the kids next door" kind of guys.....one would never know just how multi-talented and extraordinary they were..............
@Susan Hunter of course, I've never forgotten of Rob and Mo they've each made their brand as the Bee Gees. But as for me it was Barry's courage and being so optimistic. Remember Mo said in one of their interviews he said (just quoting what he said) "we were very young Robin and I were just 6 yrs old and Barry was 9 and he said one day we will be famous." As for me when I heard that that was already in his belief. When you say something it will come to pass. Robin leave the Bee Gees and tried started his own career. Mo didn't leave the band he said. So he and Barry continued...like the "Cucumber Castle" that was very good. Robin realized (I believed it) that he initiated to see and talk with Barry. And so they were together again. The song How Can You Mend a Broken Heart was a hit piece. Thank you, Susan for your replied. We may have different opinions but most importantly that we both agree that we are fans and love the Bee Gees. Lastly, I really don't see that Barry was controlling. I think he was so brilliant in all their decisions.
No way was their success due to Barry only. They were a band and each one brought their own individual talents to the band. Individually, each were great but together, they were magnificent and unmatched. Their success was due to all three creating and harmonizing beautifully together.
@Susan Hunter Absolutely! I give credit where credit is due and I have seen a few people comment elsewhere that it is all Barry. It isn't. He may have been the eldest and took charge when the twins were younger, but as they all became adults, they all were involved and each shared their talents to make the BGs what they were as a group. I have seen comments that Barry was the songwriter. Wrong! Barry himself said he and Robin wrote most of the songs, and also, Maurice to a lesser degree, but said Maurice was the "harmonist" and filled in certain melodies and harmonies where they should go. So each one contributed to the sounds and songs of this great group. No one is more important than the other. They were all important and their success were because of all three of them together.
I Agree. And Robin speaks quite a bit in this one too! I'm used to Barry taking the lead most times...but here it's pretty evenly split between the brothers. (Three unique and interesting brothers!)😉
Buster Love Yes, I agree.. and I just noticed that Robin, and to a lesser degree even Mo, looks tired too! Poor babies must have been on a tight schedule during this filming and not have slept well or not enough?
Kerstin Reinhardt Buster Love both brothers have stated in other interviews that Barry is very sensitive and emotional also. He played tennis with Andy and being more of the leader in the group I believe probably called some decisions about Andy coming into the group. I think he has doubted himself over things that happened in the past. I believe Barry was a good brother to all of them. Everyone has regrets!
Redrum Maurice was the most extroverted of the 3. Watching interviews, he was always coming up with a joke!! They all had a great sense of humor but Mo had the best!!! RIP Andy, Robin and Maurice. Their Spirits Have Flown 😢
Redrum I don’t think they were necessarily “glory hounds”. Just quicker answering than Mo. He, however, did get overlooked quite too often as Barry and Robin usually sang leafs but it was Maurice that played more instruments, gave that high to the harmonies and his arrangements were phenomenal. He always said he was the one in the middle always mediating when the other two disagreed. He was an awesome power on his own and basically the glue that held them all together after the split when Robin came back. Barry was the sexy one, Robin was that wonderful vibrato singer but Mo is who ultimately made it all magic.
0:28 and 1:09, they really hit the nail on the head about music today. It’s absolutely true now that this over-sexualized, classless, “empty” music is being force-fed and shoved into everyone’s faces with zero regard to any other kind of music. There is no variety on the radios today, much less any real talent or art with soul. Such brilliant minds, Maurice, Barry, and Robin. Immensely intelligent and talented.
I've loved their music for 40 years, even when it wasn't ''fashionable''. Back then I relied on the radio and a few cds. Now with YT I watch interviews and feel I'm getting to know them. I respect their talent off course, and their intelligence. Despite limited formal education till age 12 or so. They are incredibly logical, knowledgeable, intuitive and original in what they say. I think they were all geniuses. Because you won't hear such intelligence from those with book learned PhD's. And certainly not from modern singers.
Love this interview. Deep respect for these three musicians.... talented, intelligent, honest (vulnerable).... and incredibly underappreciated and underrated. RIP Robin and Maurice. I hope you knew how much you really were appreciated. Barry... please keep it going
Good on you Robin. You handled the interviewer like a Boss. A very creative, staunch & follow through person. Applaud you. Arohanui, 60's fan all day New Zealand - Aotearoa (Land of the long white cloud)2024
The Gibb brothers are always interesting to watch in interviews. Sometimes I imagine that they are actually one person, as it seems to always be "we" not "I" think, feel, want, etc. (and Robin with his asides, usually to Barry.)They are so used to each other. They're very sweet.
Love this, I could listen to them talk forever. Robin is so sexy and sweet. They all have a gentle kind honest nature. I like hearing them talk about Andy at this time the pain was still so raw, I don't think they ever got over it. I love that CD "size isn't everything" Blue Island " For whom the Bell tolls" are my favorites.. I always wondered why they did not play "wish you were here", that is such a beautiful song. Thanks for posting.
Mo Said once in a interwiev that IT was hard enough too Redcord IT.They Try too sing IT on the stage but IT was too emotional for them , and all three of them was start too cry.
I like when Rob talks (around 1.20) about rap/ heavy metal and pop music. Or whatever subject actually. 'Amazing source of knowledge' in Maurice words.
BeeGees are very humble and wanted to make it as kids. I always thought they would make it. Have always loved there music. With greatest respect to the BeeGees. Love greatgrandma Marilyn
Maybe not more of them , but that the deceased brothers were still amongst us. I can only watch the videos. I can't imagine what Berry went through when Robin passed. My heart goes out to to him. I just wish I knew more about the sister. At least we can still see their smiling faces and hear their heartfelt tunes. Forever strong!
Love where they talk about falsetto etc. In the 70s I loved the way black groups would use this singing and convey so much emotion. The same I loved the BGs for this, and what a job they did!
Love watching them. You can see so well how much respect & Love each other. Did you notice the twins with their hands? I am glad Mo got to talk a lot. Their hearts were broken when Andy passed ...well understood. I could go on but I know I will see them one day.
I have a suspicion that Barry was in pain the day this was filmed. He has talked about his arthritis and bad shoulder in interviews. He rubs his shoulder a few times and at around the 4:10 mark moves his arm gingerly as if in pain. Just an observation.
@SDD1967 yes I think that's exactly what's going on. After he rubs that shoulder he brings that arm down and it is a very slow movement. I'm in total awe of him and his fortitude to keep performing.
Were kind humble intelligent fun loving and talented my mom could never get how i loved them and they were her age when I was a kid well just explained why n still do
@@sassyd8738 it is difficult to explain. Their music, their interviews, their personalities just seem to touch something inside you. Their music etc just calms me. Somehow they emit love and our response is to love them back. Sometimes I step back and just say to myself these are three talented men period, but that is so much of an understatement. I'm getting very emotional and philosophical which is kind of silly when you think about it, but they transcend their music in so many ways. 💗 the Bee Gees.
It’s so sad Andy never joined the Bee Gees. It would have been such a great band with the four brothers. He did sing on one occasion that I’ve seen and it was super.
They shouldn’t ever had to answer for their music no matter what type of music it was. They were who they were and that’s that. They were fabulous artists and song writers. Their music was fantastic. If their music was fun for them, fantastic. It’s their music.
paula spence LOL!! Yes especially since in pictures, they all look to be hung like horses!!! They wore some VERY tight jeans lol Maurice even made a comment that his nickname was Moby for a reason!!! LOL
Maurice and Robin here looks like identical twin here..because most of the time they don't really look alike because they were fraternal twin but this time on this interview they were so identical twin here... I love u Robin 😍 😍 😍 missing you so much
Thank you 01livingeyes for uploading and sharing the interview. I had not seen it and it is always interesting to hear what they have to say about the creative process, their music and performance. Always polite, forthright and open in sharing their thoughts in the interviews I have seen. Hard to watch now that Barry is the only one left.
I love the album Size isnt everything.I wish i could have bought everyone of their albums.I love them.I like the interwiew with them too.The interwiewer its from Norway.♥️
What the Gibb brothers had wasn't learnt talent. They were Gifted.
Maurice was such a wonderful loving man . Maurice lives on in our hearts forever.
In my opinion, Bee Gees is always honest and humble in every interview
Mo was so much more confident and bold in this interview! Love it!

How unusual, Mo answering so much..Love them all so much
and thank you for posting!!
I Agree. And Robin speaks quite a bit in this one too! I'm used to Barry taking the lead most times...but here it's pretty evenly split between the brothers. (Three unique and interesting brothers!)😉
Barry looks so tired here...
Barry is clearly in pain here (physical), so the brothers stepped up.
Just love the gibb brothers, there music will live on forever x

DEBORA CHAVES Didn’t reply yesterday out of respect for Mo. R.I.P. Sweet Angel 1-12-09
Oops just realized I put 09 when he’s actually been gone since 03 😢
0:28 and 1:09, they really hit the nail on the head about music today.
Bee Gees The Best forever 👏 👏👏👏👏 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love everything they saying and Andy was wonderful just like the Bee Gees that’s your little brother he’s up in heaven now
I love the Bee Gees no matter what they say or what they do I love
Great men ,great performers for all times....i love you so much forever ,guys !
I so totally agree with everything that you said! I love watching their interviews & listening to their music every day!!
@@joanfrench7393 Thank you. xxx they bring me much comfort. And magically a BeeGees song plays on the radio when I need it most.
Love this interview miss MAURICE AND ROBIN AND ANDY GREATLY MISSED
In their 40s......
Love them all so much
We. All miss. Andy. Gibb. Also. His. Brothers. Maurice. And. Robin. Too
Love this interview. Deep respect for these three musicians.... talented, intelligent, honest (vulnerable).... and incredibly underappreciated and underrated. RIP Robin and Maurice. I hope you knew how much you really were appreciated. Barry... please keep it going
well said
I agree! Very underrated and underappreciated! These guys have more talent in their pinky fingers than most musicians especially these days.
They are intelligent, & honest great interview
I love you guys and truly miss you. Thank you, Mo, for telling Barry to let you finish. He always does the talking and butts in. ❤️🌹❤️
Absolutely
Love them they are down to earth god bless them
No words for this only that they are the absolute best … love for these wonderful brothers and their unique music. ❤❤❤
Good on you Robin.
You handled the

Gorgeous beautiful Well spoken Mo❤ luv our incredible BeGs❤❤❤❤
The Gibb brothers are always interesting to watch in interviews. Sometimes I imagine that they are actually one person, as it seems to always be "we" not "I" think, feel, want, etc. (and Robin with his asides, usually to Barry.)They are so used to each other. They're very sweet.
Love BeeGees humor on interviews
Love this, I could listen to them talk forever. Robin is so sexy and sweet. They all have a gentle kind honest nature. I like hearing them talk about Andy at this time the pain was still so raw, I don't think they ever got over it. I love that CD "size isn't everything" Blue Island " For whom the Bell tolls" are my favorites.. I always wondered why they did not play "wish you were here", that is such a beautiful song. Thanks for posting.
Badfingerbabe777 my favorite is i started a joke
Mo Said once in a interwiev that IT was hard enough too Redcord IT.They Try too sing IT on the stage but IT was too emotional for them , and all three of them was start too cry.
Proud of these Gibb brothers very down to earth & Australia is their 2nd Country how awesome i live in Australia myself🤩💝🌟🙏🐕👋!!!
yes i miss that kind of music, more various then the one we have today
Barry what a Charming guy you are👁👁
this interview, we have discovered their different personalities, how intelligent, smart and honest. so much to learn about life too from them
La voz de Mo es increíble!!
Mo !!! Su voz , sonrisa , cuando baila !!! Hermoso !!!te amooo💞🌹🌹
I'm here too, watching and listening to all their interviews...I wish there were more of them
Maybe not more of them , but that the deceased brothers were still amongst us.
Thanks Barry for answering all my Andy mysteries.
Love watching them. You can see so well how much respect & Love each other. Did you notice the twins with their hands? I am glad Mo got to talk a lot. Their hearts were broken when Andy passed ...well understood. I could go on but I know I will see them one day.
2021 still awesome
Philippines love the brothers Gibb
I have a suspicion that Barry was in pain the day this was filmed. He has talked about his arthritis and bad shoulder in interviews. He rubs his shoulder a few times and at around the 4:10 mark moves his arm gingerly as if in pain. Just an observation.
@SDD1967 yes I think that's exactly what's going on. After he rubs that shoulder he brings that arm down and it is a very slow movement. I'm in total awe of him and his fortitude to keep performing.
As someone with a bad shoulder I would agree.
I totally agree!
Barry Gibb: "Also size IS everything ". LOL!!!😘
I could listen to them constantly
I Love the bee gees
these 3 were so talented and fun to listen to while being interviewed ĺove hw barry said to robin can I just say this album was for fun???? lolol
I miss them so much. But...their songs will be played in the decades to come.
1:58 Maurice wasn't having it... "No no no let me finish." Love the way Barry backed down by waving his arm. Brotherly love....Gibb Gibb Gibb!!💗
Good to see them together thats how i remember them
I so love their interviews!!!!
"Also size is everything" so funny!
paula spence LOL!! Yes especially since in pictures, they all look to be hung like horses!!! They wore some VERY tight jeans lol Maurice even made a comment that his nickname was Moby for a reason!!! LOL
@@michellecrippen2966 I know right! Lol
@@pspence1963 😉
Thanks for sharing this with us. Love seeing them together like this. Very moving part about Andy in this. Love the Bee Gees and dear, sweet Andy. 💗💗💗
So georgeous ! 😍😍😍 💜💜💜
Robin looks like his mom!
I disagree - it is exactly the other way round
Maurice and Robin here looks like identical twin here..because most of the time they don't really look alike because they were fraternal twin but this time on this interview they were so identical twin here... I love u Robin 😍 😍 😍 missing you so much
Kocham zespół BeeGees .
I especially love the videos of all the BeeGees interviews
When robin started using the cap he got so much more confident he looked fab too rip what a legend robbin too ..
Great interview. Love them 💕❤
Bee.gees..forever..andy.gibb.forever
i just love them im 28/29 this year and i love them!
Also, size is everything 😂 Barry, they cut you off too soon, would love to have seen your brothers reaction!
Always searching for new interviews
Love Barry first, but they are all great artists. God bless all
Fragmented video, but Robin's (& Barry's) amused smile at the journalist (minute 1.47-1.48) makes it worth watching.
I love the album Size isnt everything.I wish i could have bought everyone of their albums.I love them.I like the interwiew with them too.The interwiewer its from Norway.♥️
I miss these guy so much rest in place sing with angels
People have said if they had not made it at music. They would have been the three stooges
