I've always said it's one of the best and most awesome SMGs in the game, and people overlook it because it's available as the default (PPS-42) or very early. It's really underrated!
I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Soviet Berlin is the best faction in terms of starting equipment. Strong tanks, 2 very good SMGs, decent aircraft, a good LMG and Semi Auto and if you include the Battle Summer Squad, that. the PPS 42 and 43 are imo 9/10 weapons, with their only drawbacks being that they are in Berlin (Ik the 42 is in Stalingrad as well)
@@jdosser i guess so, but as much as the weaponry matter, the skill is also pretty immportant, which is kind of going off topic this isn't about skill. the Germans I think do have the armor advantage with the panther though.
@@Drippum Skill does matter, 100%. I've won CQC duels against players with PPSHs while using VG.2s and G33s because while I've got worse equipment, I've got good skill and map knowledge,(Even beating people like Quadro in similar engagements). As for the German armour advantage, I'd argue that the T34 85 (both versions) counter the Panther, the SU 85 is pretty much unkillable by the Panther in a front 1 v 1 duel and the IS1 is a direct upgrade to the T34. Won't deny about the Tiger, since that thing is my favourite tank in Enlisted, but the Soviets have the armour advantage and can even kill the Tiger with their base T34. Also the Germans get the Pz4 J before the Panther, which, while it's a good tank, it's nothing compared to the T34 85 (even with the D-5 gun)
My most favourite smg in game,(i still use it on few soilders efven if i have 6star Shpagins), even Mikhail Kalashnikov said about this gun: "work of a genius" :) really love it even irl, semi-auto variants from military surplus are pretty availiable, i would say its easyest ww2 gun (same as mosin) to get your hands on, atleast in middle/east europe :)
Unrelated to your video but there's a bug splatter on my windshield that looks like the call in artillery symbol right next to my heads up display. Every time I see it I wonder where seven is on my steering wheel.
when using the G43, I have this habit of moving the sights away from the target between every shot. I never realized it but yea, G43's sights are awful at long range work
i have the same habit as well. just kinda predicts that i'll connect the shots in between. idk why but i find it effective in Normandy espe at long range work. they are awful imo but having to use it over and over makes it bearable at some point.
Just an observation, but it seems that as it stands now, the vitality perk seems to really add to the dominance of automatic weapons by greatly reducing the effectiveness of bolt actions. There were so many times when a player played correctly and got the drop on you, managing to get a hit, only for it to not drop you. That's only for the soldier you were controlling, think of how many times it must happen for your AI soldiers.

im planning to maxed out my assaulter 2 squad just bc i thot it would be better to have a ppsh (box) compared to the pps-43. i do have my assaulter 1 maxed but the gun itself isn't maxed to 4 stars so i might reconsider taking a look back at this weapon and give it a go.
how did you stow your weapon for the screenshot at 9:40? I love doing this in games that allow it for immersion EDIT: you looked down and held 'C' to look up. nvm, so excited for a second

I think the main problem is that it has a stick mag , tends to turn people off when they can choose a drum.
Fun fact: the PPS-43 had such reliable magazines, they design went to see use in modern Russian SMGs like the PP19 Vityaz.
The other day one of my AI soldier got 8 kills by himself defending a point I couldn't believe it
AI soldiers are so bipolar I swear. At times they don't even follow you out of spawn, and at others, they pop off with like 10 kills lol

they are in Berlin so they don’t overpower and win in Berlin all the time
@@Drippum Compared to similar levelled Axis players (with MP3008s and MP40s) the Allies have a huge advantage in close range

yup Vitality is straight up broken. It makes you survive an extra shot from 90%+ of weapons in Enlisted.
