This week, the F-4 Phantom didn't fly for two days at Hyakuri Air Base.
Instead, the F-2 Viper Zero flew a lot.
It seems that the generations will change.

季節が変わり、炎天下での仕事をさりげなく盛り込んでバイパーを撮る。

炎天下で１日（２日？）がかりの撮影、大変お疲れ様です。
短い本作品の中に、汗を流す1-300さん、そして自衛隊員の皆さんの苦労がとてもよく感じられます。
ツバメが羽を休めるように、ファントムも地上でしっかり整備、休養して、最後まで完璧な飛行を続けてくれることを願います。
盛り上がる入道雲や子燕が餌をねだっていたり、重く垂れさがった稲穂やコオロギの鳴き声が季節を表していたり・・・
全てのカットに目が離せません。
素晴らしいです。

These videos are so relaxing. I get excited every time I see a new video. You have the perfect view!!
Zero Viper or Hayabusa? A derivative of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Bigger wings, bigger nose cone. First fighter to deploy AESA radar and use carbon fiber in its construction. The price? 127 or 129 million USD...I think. Too bad Mitsubishi couldn't make more of them to replace some of the aging Eagles.

Beautiful as alway the f-2 in the beginning when it’s kinda bouncing it looks like it’s trying to say I’m ready to go and I miss the sound of the f-4 in take off, it’s nice to see the ground crew give the old bird a lot of attention

Mitsubishi F-2 is the most aesthetically pleasing member of the F-16 family. Good work capturing the birds as well as the ground crews in action.

Outstanding. Nice shot of those birds we call barn swallows around here.I call them the dolphins of the air because when I mow with my tractor and flush out insects they fly all around me, swooping and diving and climbing and turning getting those bugs.

I had no idea that these planes used chutes. I guess that's another difference between the Mitsubishi F-2 and the General Dynamics F-16.

It's not the same, but the Viper Zero skin for the DCS F-16 is by far my favorite. Will probably never see the actual F-2 in DCS tho, sadly. It's an absolutely knock out aircraft in the looks department.

You are watching the happy fighter chill channel ^^ ... anyway, it should be criminal and investigated why the F-2 was cancelled and assembly line destroyed. Truly, if Japan had pushed as hard for US/LMT to jointly modify and modernize the F2 baseline, it could have become one of the premier operational platforms being produced today. Who knows, perhaps there could have even been an export version. respects
if they were just going to build a bigger F-16 ... why not do the F-16XL? how sweet that would have looked in JASDF colors.

That blue paint scheme with white radomes on the F-2's makes them look a lot like Russian Su-27's. Is this intentional (are they an aggressor squadron?), or is this the normal JASDF paint scheme?
The F-2 are usually painted in a blue offshore camouflage.
