MacFarlane is a really talented (voice) actor for sure, and when the show had good writing it allowed him to shine with cartoonish-yet-super-real moments like these. nowadays the show really did get to 'hey peter remember the time?' levels of lazy scripts and there's no memorable lines for which to appreciate the guy as an actor no more.
Was at a party last week and the second we got there two guys started fighting with everyone in a circle around them. Still pretty sober at that point I said to my friend “you know what I haven’t had in a while? Big league chew” and we both just laughed and went outside to smoke

Oh my god, I need to watch earlier Family Guy. I never realized how freaking hilarious the show was back then. This is legitimately the first time I laughed out loud at this show, on a CZcams rip of all places.
It goes without saying but Seth was always such an impressive voice actor. He gets a lot of credit for voicing loads of characters, but his individual performances stand out in the earlier seasons.
