I got Bravely Default when it first came out on 3DS and just couldn't get into the combat system. I do want to try it again now that I've played a lot more JRPGs.
The combat is the best part 😑

Bravely Default is fun if you can grasp the Job/Skill system because you essentially have to create your own party with the Jobs available. Theres 30 in the game, my favorites were Dark Knight and Ninja.

Bro I remember picking up a pikachu N64 for super cheap, and games were dirt cheap. Good times. I’m so happy I collected everything I wanted before everything got so expensive.

Winback for $100? Last time I saw it in a story, it was only $20. Cart only but I don't see myself paying five times as much for a box, not when it will just get replaced with a plastic case. My game buying days are more or less over. Unless it's something like a (Dreamcast) homebrew, fan translation or a novelty (like Soul Star X for the 32X or Dinosaur Planet for the N64) I think I will pass. Not like I don't have a couple or three bookcases full of them. I was playing Darius Twin on my SNES yesterday.

Bravely Default is great. Soundtrack is awesome, especially end-game. It has a lot of side quests, though, and they are for getting new jobs for battle as well as character development.
There is a downside that some players call "the 2nd half" of the game. You may find it annoying, but it is integral to the story. If you find yourself discouraged to finish the game because of it, I'd say try to stick it. You can change the difficulty anytime as well.
I don't know if you got around to playing BD when you had it but the battle system is the precursor to Octopath Traveler's system so you'll see some similarities (I think it was the same team that made the two games)
Have you picked up Succubus The Maneater yet for all major platforms? It's a head basher!
At 9:40 Theres a Zelda game for $400. I think at that point its completely absurd to pay that for a single game, you could buy a new console for that amount.
