That was nice! I really enjoyed watching. I'm from America, but I love everything British. Especially afternoon tea. I so wish there was a tea house near by that offered the British experience of afternoon tea with all the trimmings. I would visit once a week.

Serena, thankyou for the lovely tips. I am going to host my first tea party and I want to get it right. I'm a baker, so I can make the scones and petite desserts myself. Thank you for teaching us. I do plan on doing tea time with my family. My husband said we should wait until we have a house but we have mugs, tea and can get the pastries as well as make the sandwiches so I'm hoping I can change his mind. 😆

I have to say, you cracked me up with laughter the _way you instructed “How to...” on various details_ The best Tea I have had so far: Marks & Spencer’s Kenyan Orange Pecko and Irish Afternoon Tea with Bewley’s ... Apart from these: Iranian Cafe’s in Bombay that brew Tea and *that tastes like Heaven* ... Milk has to be boiled and need to be at creamy thickness instead of Cream itself... *Thank you for your refreshing introduction* to _Culture of Tea Etiquettes_ 🌹🌷💕👍🙏🏼

Would love to try it :) I also just uploaded a video on masala chai where you brew the tea through decoction; seems to be quite similar 😊
@@cupofculture6521 I *saw* _Masala Tea_ ... Boil Tea on the Gas (1 cup water needs 1.5 spoon Tea) ... Add Cardamom or your desired *Masala* or a half spoon of Sambuka ... Boil for 4-5 minutes / add brown sugar (crystals) and 2 spoons of Evaporated Milk ... and you will feel *blessed* 👍🌹🙏🏼🔥 ... _Let me know how you “feel” afterwards_ ...

I once worked with a lot of people who were English descendants. I couldn’t understand why they would ask each other what they were cooking for afternoon tea instead of what they were cooking for dinner? I’m pretty sure that we’re talking about dinner because they were discussing things like steak, peas and potatoes.
Hi Elkycreates, sometimes people use the terms afternoon tea and high tea interchangeably even though there is actually a difference :)
Tea vs dinner or supper is a class thing.
Hi tea is a term more commonly used in the US.

You use the same knife for the jam, clotted cream, and lemon curds? That cannot be okay. I would think there should be a different utensil for each.
Happy to do so when I don't have to wash up. Afternoon tea for one uses one knife 😁

You can but there are often fewer options! If you fancy it, you can even have an afternoon tea with bubbles and drink prosecco instead 😁
If you hate tea there’s usually a kfc down the street instead
