For some reason, even though I'm approaching my senior years, this song makes me feel young and untarnished again.
It mysteriously evokes an almost-nostalgic feeling. I can't explain it, but when I first heard it, I felt that I had known it from

My mother is ready to ascend, so I'm happy for my Mom. This adrenal cancer tumor has become so unbearable. If anyone has seen pain on the face of their parent, it's hard but she's a wonderful spiritual woman. I needed to hear this song, over and over! Thank you Pharrell for this song!

I have this song downloaded from iTunes on my cell phone. I like to hit the button when I'm on a crowded tram. It takes people just a few seconds to figure out whose purse the song is coming from. No complaints yet...
Hilarious! Now that's how you put smiles on weary faces! That reminds me of a young man on a subway train, black kid about 17 or so, pants sagging, breaks out singing " Build me up Buttercup" that he most likely learned from watching "Something About Mary". But he actually had a nice voice and was really into it. Every one looked around and suddenly we were helping him out with "Hey, Hey Hey's! That was so fun and memorable. I love spontaneous moments like that.

This video is pure brilliance. If it wasn't enough that Pharrell made it through the whole video in one take, they kept it going from there. I was slightly disappointed that they did cut frames when they transitioned to the sky and the floor in between songs, etc. And it was disappointing for 15 minutes of motorcycle view.... But it was great that they kept everything in the video. Products, street names, license plates, peoples reactions. Again. Brilliant. I just realized that they also have others, 5am, 3pm, 5pm, etc. Holy crap. Again, being able to hook the audience to listen to a song over and over again. Amazing. (this is a positive statement, not derogatory.)

From what I know Pharrell Williams is a very religious person but I like this song for atheism. This is a very positive song that should make everyone feel good about life, it certainly makes me feel good and even after listening too it for an hour I was still enjoying not only the song but watching others enjoying it. And as an atheist I just wanted to point out that it exemplifies how I feel about life, joy and happiness is there without the need for anything like say a god.
