1:Çemberlitaş Column: also known as "Burnt Column" or "Column of Constantine" (in Turkish: Çemberlitaş Sütunu), is one of the prominent historical monuments in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. This column reaches Roznian with almost the same historical age as the city of Istanbul. The creation of this column was one of the highlights at the time of its construction, because it was located in the middle of the great forum of Constantine, the great king of Rome.
2.Sultan Ahmed: Then we reach the Sultan Ahmed area, which houses some of the most important historical monuments of the city. The area is a historical treasure with places like the Blue Mosque.
3: History of Sultan Ahmed Mosque:
This mosque is the most important mosque in Istanbul, and because of its interior design, it is known as the Blue Mosque among tourists and local people. This historical monument is located next to Bayezid Equestrian Stadium and in the center of the old city of Istanbul. The construction of this mosque goes back to the years 1609 to 1616. The order to build this complex was issued by Ottoman Sultan Ahmed I. When Sultan Ahmed I died in 1617, his body was buried in this mosque and a tomb was built for him and his family. In terms of geographical location, the Blue Mosque is located right in front of the Hagia Sophia Mosque to compete with this mosque.
The architect of this mosque was Sadafkar Mehmet Agha, one of the students of Mimar Sinan. This mosque is a vast complex and like other important mosques around the world, it consists of different parts such as religious school, market (to finance the mosque), kitchen, library, etc.
