It looks like these came out right after Pokemon first got popular. 1:43 they reference Pokemon The First Movie, and at 2:07 you can see a copyright from 2000. Also a lot of the pukeymon names seem to be parodying original 151 Pokemon.

I actually just looked up the company that made these card, apparently they use to make baseball, football, and NHL cards (like anyone gives a damn)
Anyways they later went bankrupt in 2004, something to do with LOA or something, I don’t really know, anyways there called Pacific Trading Cards and if you search them up in google there’s a Wikipedia article which is where I got my info from
