Not really I’m a uncle and I’m still in my early 20s and he knew tomos mom for a long time so in a way she’s a aunt to him
The impression that I got was that Akemi was mad that Jun wasn't calling her by her first name. Since he and Tomo grew up together he's considered part of the family. Calling her obasan is something a non family member would do.

Ngl I'd be him not so much shy as shock of just how beautiful my wife is and more over feeling lucky to have married such a beautiful woman. I think it's cute and shows imo the purest form of love.
