Actually Fred 2 is the sequel of all time because it has one writer who worked on Morbius, and Fred has overalls
@the wise mystical tree 🌳 I can't wait for when Frorbius says "it's Frorbing time", his iconic catchphrase. It will surely be one of the moments of all time
Fun fact: The reason why Judy's actor (Pixie Lott) didn't come back for the sequel is because her management wouldn't let her do the other ones
It’s because pixie lot have fired her agent and Jeanette McCurdy did that as well, same as John Cena and Tom Arnold
Every time I hear the "right behind me" gag I think of how Futurama pulled it off perfectly;
"She's right behind me, isn't she?"
"No, I'm in front of you."
"...He's right behind me, isn't he?"
"Nope"
"Oh thank god"
"He's right behind ME!"
-Lucy and Ben from Crash Zoom
I love when Fred said "It's freddin' time" and his vocal chords became white noise
Fun Fact: John Cena has openly said he was especially interested in being a part of the FRED movies because he believed that if the movie was successful it'd be a turning point for the popularity of all independent creators, and wanted to support that.
It's hard to say he was wrong.
13:59 Thanks so much for the content warning. As someone with a phobia of vomit, this content warning doesn’t get used nearly enough.
Loved the video!
weirdo. if you aren't on an IV drip, your damn stomach is full of vomit all the time
I loved when Fred said "it's freddin time" then fredded all over the place
The fact this would make sense in one of these movies is funny yet mortifying.
If Fred had a Million Fans, I'm one of them.
If Fred had 5 Fans, I'm one of them.
If Fred Had One Fan, then that fan is me
If Fred had no Fans, then I no longer exist.
If the world is against Fred, then I am against the world.
If the world gets rid of Fred, then they will have to get rid of me.
Long. Live. Fred

Fred's dad being John Cena is one of the most lowkey "You can't see your dad" jokes ever.
Fun fact: A fake vampire is called a sham-pire. Also, 'Fred' is actually just a live-action 'Doug' with a helium voice.
Fun fact: Fred has a channel called "Lucas" and he actually still uploads content on there. The channel is actually decent mostly because he abandoned the squeaky voice and it isn't that cringe.
@@thechef2008Watching him appear on iCarly as Lucas was cool, it was the first time I'd ever seen him as a regular non squeaky voice guy...he was still acting all creepy at one point though XD

@@andrewjanes7220 Probably more crises than Master of Disguise and Morbius cuz those movies were mentioned in this video which makes sense
@@lordlizard4838 i think he had a mental breakdown in almost every video

Bren just casually referencing the Big Bill Hell's Car Commercial, and Jude is completely clueless. For some reason that made me smile. XD
Wasn’t there like, a cool guy imaginary anti-Fred named Derf in one of the movies, or did I imagine Fred’s imaginary friend?
I know this is very late but no you didn’t imagine that. I think he’s in every single one of the movies
I honestly think Fred could work if the writers acknowledged how tragic and unsettling he is
That's actually genius, to be honest. Showing kids that Fred isn't something to strive to be and make John Cena like a good father figure into making him a normal person.
It’s odd that the character became more immature as his creator presumably grew into adulthood.
Even in the behind the scenes for the first Fred film, Lucas said he was afraid he'd be forced to play Fred in his 20s. His fans didn't like when he tried to experiment with other characters, and Nickelodeon had him for another two films and two sitcoms, which he wasn't even really responsible for writing. I imagine Fred was around even longer than he wanted it to be.
Also John Cena straight up volunteered to be in these films, cuz he thought that a kid being able to go from goofing off on the internet to getting his own movie was something to admire
I think Lucas also said he really didn’t get to have much to do with the first Fred movie because Nickelodeon nixed his road trip idea for the movie and rewrote everything to take place in Fred’s neighborhood
@@loganarnoldkicks4321 Lucas wanted the first movie to take place in a road trip?
@@theblackswordsman5039 Yes! He originally wanted Judy to move across the country hence why Fred hitchhikes to her house
@@loganarnoldkicks4321 Well it probably would’ve been the same movie only the premise would take place on the road
@@loganarnoldkicks4321 honestly, that would have made the plot point with Fred traveling everywhere make WAY more sense than just him being too stupid to ask her for her address at school
The WWE scene in Fred 2 was infact filmed during a live WWE event, Smackdown in late April, 2011
21:12 I actually learned recently that the story is a bit more complicated. Selena did have some not nice things to say about Bay, but she couched it in endearing terms. Essentially, she said “Yeah, he’s literally Hitler to work with on set, but he’s not really a bad guy, he’s just really into what he does.”
Bay himself was fine with the comments, as he constantly degrades himself, so he’s fine with others doing so as well. However, the producer, Steven Spielberg (yes, THAT Spielberg) thought it was horrendously rude and unprofessional, so he pressured Bay to fire her.
It's because she used Hitler as a comparison, and that's just sad because it was and still is a common turn of phrase
Probably one of my favorite parts of these movies is the fact that Kevin, Fred's bully, is also a total dork. Like if Fred wasn't there Kevin would absolutely be the main target of bullying.
really anyone who goes around bullying people is a total dork, cause there's simply no reason for it
@@basedkid42 no... insane people must be protected at all costs! as long as they are the fun or just annoying type of insane and not dangerous type of insane, i myself happen to be in a gray area, i hold myself back constantly but if i didn't do that, i would likely be in prison by now, in other words i can control myself but i get some dangerously insane thoughts in my head that i need to find ways of very quickly getting rid of before they come to reality, but i also do just simple stupid things that will either make someone laugh or make someone very angry at me, so i guess i'm sort of a mixture of all 3 lol

One time when I was younger, I watched the first two Fred movies back to back on Nick. I thought they were two really long episodes of some new TV show.
there actually is a fred tv show on nickelodeon. i believe it’s only like 1 season with 10 episodes or sum but it exists. all i remember is that they don’t have the actor for fred’s mom or john cena in it anymore and it’s actually a let less wild compared to the movies or youtube videos.
@@thelaseringtrespiker4006 YESSS THANK YOU! i spent years thinking Night of the Living Fred was just an episode of some TV show until i found out it was a movie and i was like?? where’s the show?? did i seriously make that up??
i’m too young to have seen the early Fred YT videos, so my only experience with him was an iCarly episode, the movies, and the apparently-real TV series - y’know, the most fever-dream parts of his career 💀 i feel like everything would’ve made just a /little/ bit more sense if i’d ever watched a single one of his videos, but to this day, i’ve still only seen clips of them in a Quinton Reviews video.
i’ll probly watch the originals someday, but for right now, i’m not ready to fall any further down the proverbial Fred rabbithole o_0 it’s weird enough as-is

I didn't even notice that, that's so hilarious yet oddly endearing.
Hey, how do you do those comments where you put the time of a video in?
3:48 Not even five minutes and already got me
Either they cut out 6 hours of footage of them going to the bathroom and getting popcorn, or this is some damn good editing.
the fact that there's more than one fred movie feels so surreal
And the fact that Lucas reacted to his own movies on his own channel is even more surreal
When Lucas re-watched the films, he did confirm it was mostly filmed in an actual WWE event and he was terrified. Something to think about 🤔

At 54:35 when Bren is just in a constant state of depression and that really got me😂
I remember hearing that the Fred movie is very similar to the Joker movie. I forget the exact details, but essentially, the whole "Fred stalking the girl" thing is exactly like "Arthur stalking Sophie" thing. Also, and this one is a stretch, Fred is bullied by the school's society, just like how Arthur Fleck is bullied by Gotham's society. I'm pretty sure that this theory is correct, I will not be taking any questions.

I love the image of Jude being completely dead inside, sat between Josiah and Bren making stupid jokes
You know I actually have a three legged horse, or pony in this case. Her name is Sheba and I've had her ever since I was eight years old. about a year ago she got a hoof condition that basically made it so her front right hoof died. No blood was getting to it and, if left alone, it would have killed her. Luckily we actually found out that they do make prosthetics limbs for horses, which is a very new technology, so we had to send her to the doctors like 200 miles away for five months for her treatment. I'm happy to say that the surgery was a success and they removed the dead hoof and replaced it with a prosthetic and now she's doing great and is happy and I am so great full to still have my childhood pony and friend with me.
The horse in this video reminded me of the whole thing so I thought I'd share the story.
@@gayjayy Yup, I was surprised too. I always heard that if a horse breaks or loses a leg it basically has to be put down. I was SO happy when we found out that Sheba could be saved. She's been doing great ever since.

Of course it's so terrible because it's a Fred movie, but I remember enjoying it a lot as a kid because it felt more out there than a lot of other kids films on Nickelodeon.
Funny story, John Cena agreed to do the Fred movie because he was inspired by Lucas starting on CZcams and eventually getting a movie from it. He said that Fred was the American dream realized.
