I own 3 1996 robes from ScreamRobes.
I owned 1 from Public Enemy.
I compared them to the 25th anniversary releases and even the HitJacket version online.
Screamrobes has the best quality. Sometimes the robes may appear a bit more sparkly than dark but they wont rip or tear easy.
Some folks also dont understand its 1 guy and an assistant making these from a particular pattern.
Of course the wait time is high. Be patient. It's worth it.
The other guys companies dont know how to sew gloves or hoods properly. Tbh

I hope this isnt to personal of a question but what state do you live in? I ordered my costume on july 4 and it still isnt here (I live in NH)
I'm in NY. If I remember it took about 3 weeks, maybe more. Can't remember just email them. They make them by hand so it takes a while I thnk

That guy is making a killing using those scream files. I personally would not pay 450 for a robe. It is cool looking though.
Yeah, my comfort zone would have been 300 but after a lot of research this was the one that really nailed it looks and quality wise.
@3DPrintedProps more power to you for having the means to pay for the robe. I'm also not going to buy one since I've heard his used copies on ebay go for as low as 190 USd.

@somersfamily they might. Scream robes is kind of a joke. He uses a shoe string and velcro down the middle which causes the robe to snag. I know it's screen accurate but it's so dumb at the same time. The robes are more flimsy then what people would lead you to believe. He basically just has a good pattern material and great leg room at the bottom. Not worth 450 in my opinion.
@@horrorvillainfan4342😂 you dont really know what you're talking about as someone really new to the hobby calling early gens Latex on your page lol he has the highest quality that will last longer than any competitors. He made them like the originals but even better material wise.
Personally would prefer pes, screamrobes templates arent 100% they got them from Ghostrobes
They dont have access to the scream 1 robes maybe only 2&4 they bought from auctions but thats ut
Scream robes has the most accurate scream 2 3 and 4 robes and fabric to date there isn’t really a 100 percent accurate scream 1 robes replica since the only robes are in a private collection
@@Midnight_horrors885 I'm not sold.on their S2 robes, the hoods look a bit off even the fabric is too sparkly to me n I E heard it's heavy, I've got pics of the s1 hero robe n there is subtleties between, I actually like.lil shop of horrors s1 robe over Screamrobes
@@Tatteredghost96 I’m just going off of the pictures and reviews I’ve seen personally I’ve gone with nelcosplay for my robe as I just needed something that fit my price a bit better I’ve never heard of the s1 robe by little shop before I may have to check it out
not to be to contrary here, but considering the original ghostface was a mass manufactured rubies costume, would that not be the most authentic? Not the highest quality, just the most authentic.
the movie did use the prefab costume originally, they admit it because they could not get the look they wanted just right.
No almost everything you just said was wrong the robe was never a premade robe that they used the only thing that already existed that they used for scream was funworld fantastic faces mask the robe was custome made using the last of an already out of production lurex cotton fabric the robe funworld sells didn’t exist until after scream came out and they needed a Halloween costume to go with the mask

@@hugsandcurses I’m going to trust Nate Raegan on this over you the lurex fabric used for the first 3 films was part of the same batch as it was no longer being made it’s true that you can still buy lurex cotton however it’s not the exact same
