    hello, what year is this euro sedan?
    and do you think I can I code my obd1 95 m3 US spec car using these same methods ???

      US alarm systems don't use the GM4 as the alarm module. Only if you have option code SA302 you will have this function.

    Hello,
    I'm trying to follow in your footsteps but you're getting the following error in NCS EXPERT: "error at changing zcs"
    Could you help me?

      Hi!
      If your car is from 97, you should be able to see the GM4 module via NCSExpert. It does not appear in the list of available modules?

      @mrnoname35  Před 2 lety +1

      The procedure will be similar, but you need to check if your car has the original BMW alarm system. If yes, then it should be possible to enable the same. Cheers

    Does your car have the alarm system ?
    Bc I'm not sure, if we don't have one, we can also make the visual and acoustic signal with the remote key :/

    • @mrnoname35
      @mrnoname35  Před 4 lety

      Hi!
      The visual or accoustic acknowledgment settings are part of the alarm system, so it's only customizable on E36 with DWA.

    where did you get the software?

    • @mrnoname35
      @mrnoname35  Před 5 lety +2

      Hi!
      I bought it from BCABLES. They provide the set of cables, and an automated software installer. It was super easy to install.. the installer is doing all the configurations for you. I'm able to connect to most of the modules on my 98 M3.
      However, if you want to access ALL the modules of the car, or you have a car produced before 1996, then this kit working via USB will not work. You need to purchase an ADS interface, and use an old laptop with a serial RS232 port.

      Hi James,
      96 should work via USB for most of the modules, however I'm afraid that I have no idea where you can download it for free. :/
