If you've seen the video on our home page you've heard this song. We uploaded this to our Vimeo channel - The Ukulele Site - where most of our videos go, but someone couldn't view it there so I'm putting it here. Fun song from a legendary Hawaiian group. RIP Ernie Cruz.
Aloha! - Hudba
Mahalo Aaron - You gave me how to play one of the all-time great songs, but you also snuck in more awesome techniques at the same time. Aloha!
Aaron -- Mahalo for the what could be the most useful Ukulele/Song lesson - EVER! Not only did you teach me one of the all GOAT song, but so many great techniques at the same time…. Aloha

That is an incredibly beautiful uke. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you! I’d not had much success with the fan strum until I watched this video. The wrist twist was the thing I was missing. It’s all coming together now!
I really appreciate your efforts.
So much going on in this Uku song, playing demonstrates how flexible and versatile theN is. How dam good Arron is.. and of course the creator boys..
Aaron, your explanations are always clear. Keep up the good work man!
Simply amazing.... as you say, practice practice practice... many thanks
Thanks for the Ka'au Crater boys tutorial. I'd love to see a "Opihi Man" lesson sometime, I get stuck on some lead parts.
Mahalo,
Eric
Troy Fernandez played magic on the uke! RIP to a major jam blastah.

Great tutorial!! Can you do one for TNC?
Okay you gave me chicken skin. I'm at work and I don't have my uke to jam I'm all sick now. Mahalos
Hi Aaron, thanks for the tutorial. It's really great! May you give me a hint on how you play without leaning the uke between the thumb and index of your left hand? If I try to play like you do my uke tends to fall... however if I lean it I play much slower. Mahalo!
Best lesson I have seen for this great Uku song. Technique needs a bit of practice to get it crisp. The picking just shows how musically accomplished the writer is And as demonstrated here...
Wooo another Aron tutorial!
I think it's an old one thought
Sir Aaron may i ask the specification of your Ukulele. Thank you

You never actually play the song, so how are we supposed to know how it's supposed to sound or how everything fits together?

Awesome video. But Brahhh...your uke got me all wet lol
Aww, man. You started out good pronouncing the word ʻukulele correctly and then you called it a “uke” (yūk) 🤦🏻♀️.
Otherwise a good tutorial.
Way too advanced bro. Slow these parts down and make 4 video's for 1 song. Overwhelming
