i connected with tavros and found that hes actually fairly good representation? he doesnt complain about his disability, but he isnt as enthusiastic as terezi, he complains to vriska, but if the person you had to blame for losing your legs was right there, why wouldnt you? its the one thing he doesnt apologize for, his wheelchair plays into the story but his actions which could be done without it still have levity. ill stop ill stop
so yeah. back to the point. i feel if he got legs and immediately kicked everyones ass with unexplained confidence/walked downstairs perfectly, it would imply the only way to happiness for paraplegics is to walk again. that being said, if he kicked everyones asses later (protected himself from vriskas attack long enough that she disappeared) THATD BE A KICK ASS SCENE NO PUN INTENDED }:)

Holy Jegus!!!! I just realized that this is THE video/comic that started the conversation that I listened in on years ago that brought my attention to Homestuck in the first place. I was sitting at a table in the college cafeteria (well before I went to college, this was either a middle school or high school summer band camp hosted by the college), and I was listening to a conversation between some friends about something involving a guy getting robot legs, kicking everyone's ass, and someone mentioning at the end that they "have the weirdest boner". I'm not sure if I asked what the conversation was about or someone else, but eventually someone said that they were talking about Homestuck. This led to me eventually looking up Homestuck for the first time and eventually led to me going down the Homestuck rabbit hole and joining the fandom. This video/comic is more or less responsible for me joining one of my favorite all time fandoms and I am glad that it exists.
