- Whilst at Toy Fair 2020 we stumbled across Sixteen-12 Collectables. Well known for their replicas of the Eagle Transporters from Space1999 they've decided to expand upon their range to include action figures, role-play replicas and studio scale models from Thunderbirds.
We were given a guided tour of their stand although due to technical issues it isn't as extensive as we would have liked.
However hopefully you'll no doubt smile along with Neil as the Moonbase Alpha Comlock and Stun gun are demonstrated; if of course you're not experiencing flashbacks to that notorious of Space1999 Episodes - Dragon's Domain...

Dragons Domain was the scariest piece of sci fi I ever saw!!!! Still haunts me decades later. Bought a die cast Eagle from a comic book store about 10 years ago or so. Great design and still holds up.
Oh yes countless unsuspecting TV viewers needed counselling after that episode.
I couple of years ago Neil looked after Susan Jameson at a convention (who was one of the Ultra Probe crew in the episode) and she is delightful.
@@BlastProcess I understand the comments about Dragon's Domain, how disturbing some of the scenes were. I am in my 50's and I still haven't watched it straight through since the 1970's. This is not a compliment to the episode, I'm asking that people see it from those of us who were genuinely disturbed for a long long time, I still am. I don't mind being entertained, but at what cost. I am waiting for the delivery of the sixteen12 Eagle and command module from the Ultraprobe. I won't be keeping the Command module from the UP. I wanted the Eagle that has the Command Module that can be jettisoned. The Eagles are the best SCI-FI Spaceships I've seen so far, I have some 12 inch (sixteen12) and three 22 inch models. Can someone arrange for me to get a full size one and I will pay through PayPal.

Dragon's Domain is a very well made episode but isn't alone in series one in producing a strong reaction in the viewer.
The series contained a strong horror element. The episode "Force of Life" sticks in your mind with the glowing eyes and the cremated look of the main character. That on top of other episodes that incorporated classical horror concepts.
The show is a product of the late 70s and at a point where the UK film and TV industry were able to produce memorable moments from the simplest of ideas. Later shows such as The Hammer House of Horror series continued this trend and stick equally with you (The House that Bled to Death for example).
The Dragon's Domain set is on the BP wish list btw.
@@BlastProcess what does BP and BTW mean? When I grew up in the 70s other scenes from films and programmes seriously disturbed me, as a child I couldn't understand why people wanted to enjoy violence. The entertainment industry can affect us in positive ways (the Original Thunderbirds) made us feel good because it was about having empathy for those who needed rescued, there was International Rescue ready to help, it's no surprise it was and still is popular. The opposite can also be true, we can learn how to be violent and aggressive through "entertainment." I remember I brought a boy to tears because of my actions as a child, I was so struck by what I was capable of, it stayed with me for a long time. Those images of violence on tv still affect me to this day. Anywho, I appreciate your comments, I still want a real Eagle, they built a full size Millennium Falcon, how about a full size Eagle.
@@paulanderson1614
BP in this context is Blast Process and btw is the common abbreviation for by the way.
A full size Eagle would require considerable room and expense and the only full size Millennium Falcon that is accessible to the public which we are aware of is at Disney's Galaxy's Edge theme park .
A video on the Eagle was just published on the official Gerry Anderson channel - You might want to elicit their response to such an idea.

Love the stun gun, would have been so excited to have this as a kid ( I remember running around using a staple gun as a stand in )
i had the water pistol. it was very cool
Holy crap i had one these back in the early 70’s that i got for Christmas!!! I think i was like 6 years old when i got it!!!
That would be the Dinky version; the white freighter (later issued in metallic blue) and the metallic green standard Eagle.
Sixteen-12 do replicas of those as well;

Watched Space: 1999 when it came out. Loved it.
Sad there is no U.F.O. items.
They had UFO dioramas on their stand but the footage was unusable - sorry.
But you can view them on their website;
www.sixteen12.com/product-category/ufo-deluxe-die-cast-collection/
excellent tour!
Outstanding!
I just love the Hawks! In Charlton Publications comic-book adaptations of SPACE 1999, the Hawks defend Alpha from alien invaders.
Trop génial ! Quelle sublime collection ! Félicitations !!!
C'est fou hein cette collection! Je viens seulement de recevoir mon premier Eagle one hier! Dur dur d'en trouver! :-)
The big Eagle is just stunning
It is a mighty thing. The part of the tour footage where we were shown around it was unusable [we were gutted].The nose can be removed to reveal the pilots within and it is most impressive and highly impactable! Those small ones though... :)
That is so cool 👍😎
Recently Sixteen-12 have put out a release for something that made BP quite excited since we enquired about such a possibility when on their stand...
The Swift from Brian the Brain has been announced!
mailchi.mp/350641acca26/news-update-13392062
I'd go bust buying all these great items, but I would have a big smile...
Have bought the comm lock & gun via the Gerry Anderson site with a couple of figures as well.
I loved Sace1999 as a kid and these ships look amazing, talking about Space 1999 I saw the Big chief Studios Space 1999 commander Koenig figure it looks amazing love the costume that he's wearing as well.
We've just published the first part of a three part series of our visit to Big Chief Studios (although it is Doctor Who centred).
You may like Bruno who has his own series on Blast Process reviewed the Sixteen-12 Comlock and Stun Gun recently. czcams.com/video/Bj0J90bsiIo/video.html
I'm so glad Space 1999 is getting so much love nowadays--i plan on buying two of everything from Sixteen 12. They are on point with their likenesses, and detailing. Excellent work from New York, and looking forward to release!
I WANT THEM ALL !!!!
We've got the mini Eagles and launch pad on order so a video for them will happen when they get released!
i got the eagle series when they e=were enterprise. best thing i ever bought
These were some of my best toys when I was younger if only I had kept them and my of toys now I'm a collector these things are so expensive now
I wonder how big a model of Moonbase Alpha would be for the 44 inch Eagles.
Thanks for the video.
Well the 44inch Eagles are 1/24th scale and Moonbase Alpha is supposedly 4km in diameter.
So a 1/24 scale Alpha would be 166.6m or 544feet across.
Apart from the cost I think you might have difficulty in displaying it...
And thanks for the compliment :)
I want them all!!!
Move over Pokémon the Eagles have landed...
I just bought the Eagle Transporter. Its a thing of beauty... Absolutely stunning model. I did a video, its on my channel.
7:47 - Thunderbirds Are Go!
This is all very exciting. I wonder what the price range will be on the role-play and figures? I always wanted the Eagles but they're too expensive for me, partly because of the exchange rate in the US.
Yes these are very desirable.
We have access to a copy of their catalogue (and prices) and we can answer only half of your questions.
The Deluxe 1:1 Scale Stun Gun and Comlock - £149.99
However there is no published price for the action figures.
The small Eagles are £39.99 (so cute) and are on the shopping list! The Launch Pad is £149.99 in case you're tempted.
I cannot comment on exchange rate pricing but we are aware of a US supplier called FAB Gear USA. They may be worth a look.
Blast Process thanks for the info! I’ll check FAB gear out!
I "need" the 5inch rescue. Pre-ordering...
Neil has placed his orders already.
Be assured a video will appear when they arrive.
I want one those are awesome.
Oh yes.
So much Anderson goodness in one place.
@@BlastProcess I loved watching Space 1999 when I was a little kid.
“IIIIIII LLLLLLIIIIIKKKKKEEEEE IIIIITTTT”!!!!!!!!!
There was supposed to be a Combat Eagle with a detachable weapons pod. Would like to see the Pilot Ship from Bringers Of Wonder.
The Super Swift would be on our wish list.
I would've like to see more of Sixteen 12's other products. I. E., Thunderbirds 1, & 3. The UFO SHADO Mobiles, etc.
How can a American get these Collectibles? I mean, how and where do I find Sixteen 12?
I've still got my Airfix Hawk. I guess that one should even be considered a collectible as a finished model. Still need an Eagle though so if the prices for those small ones are reasonable enough.... and, boy, are they right about size being a typical collectors problem. Otherwise I'd want a 1 to 1 TB2! :-)
Yeah they big Eagles are essentially furniture. The smaller ones are cute and on the purchase list (and maybe the Dragon's Domain edition).
I loved my diecast Eagle in the 70's, even though it was green. Will your new Eagles be the same size and diecast? Or, mostly diecast?
Sixteen 12 make Eagles of varying scales. Ranging from the very big to the new 5inch versions.
The green Eagle you are referring to was made by Dinky Toys of Liverpool (UK). As it happens Sixteen 12 are producing Dinky recreations that are from memory larger. We did film this at the event was the video has technical issues so had to be edited out.
Here is a link to the green Dinky tribute edition;
www.sixteen12.com/shop/retro-space-1999-eagle-transporter/
Apart from these Dinky tributes the Space:1999 range is in the correct studio colours.
It is worth looking around the Sixteen 12 website where it provides physical information regarding the model sizes.
Regarding the figures...can those be considered fully articulated if they dont bend at the knees?
Did I miss the 40 quid Eagles? It's January 2022 and I've only seen the big £125 Eagle sets on sale :-(
They have been up for pre-order for a while.
This is the actual order page on Sixteen 12 where you can order direct.
www.sixteen12.com/product-category/space-1999-toys/
A full set has been ordered so they will feature here eventually and today Bruno took a look at their Commander Koenig figure.
czcams.com/video/fbH55u8OxjU/video.html
I'd love to get one of those Thunderbird 3s but in the end, Sixteen12 told me that they decided not to produce them due to lack of interest.
That's a pity.
They did put up Thunderbird 1 for a while but that didn't gain enough interest.
The models are big and you need to consider them as furniture due to the space they would occupy.
Take my money!
I want, I want I want......
We feel your pain...
those Dinky style eagles...are they all made in plastic or is there any metal involved like the old Dinky eagles, I wonder?
They are part of their (Sixteen 12) Retro Die Cast Collection and hence comprised of metal and plastic.
www.sixteen12.com/product-category/gerry-anderson-retro-die-cast-collection/
had the commander and doc dolls long ago.
You are most likely thinking of the Mego releases.
Bruno who has his own series of videos on this channel is a big Mego fan.
Here is a link to his playlist which does include Mego content.

I could spend Sooooo much money at this stand 😎😎😎😎😎
We suspect that this is shared by many...
Have they gone bust everything out of stock on there web site.
They have been having a series of sales recently.
Coincidentally there is a delivery expected here from Sixteen12.
A quick question: on the dragons domain set does it have a detachable transport pod
Since others in the range do it would seem strange to not have this feature but the listing on Sixteen-12 doesn't actually say either way.
Checking on the Gerry Anderson shop you get the same description.
We at BP are inclined to think it does but you may wish to contact them direct to be sure.
@@BlastProcess thanks a bunch! How do I contact sixteen twelve for a question
@@doggovision5817
Their contact details (taken from the website);
Email: info@sixteen12.com
Phone: + 44 (0) 7544843221
Please keep us informed of the reply.
@@BlastProcess of course, before I contact I can agree because of the crease in between the transport pod. Also, sorry to be annoying but would the hangar set have a winch that works (the 12”)
@@BlastProcess amazing news! The eagle has a detachable pod thanks for the help!
As I told you, I was getting two of everything sixteen 12 was putting out from Space 1999. I just pre ordered two of everything. I have to go through Fabgear USA as I live across the pond in New York. I suspect that the word about these ships and figures hasn’t gotten far as of yet in the States-but whoa when the word does get out! You want them-pre order NOW! You’ve been warned....
Com Lock or Space iPhone?
Com Lock - the belt clip for the win.
So is this what product enterprise became?
Same people but a different company.
No Swift?
The Swift and Super Swift are on our list of vehicles we would want as well.
Until then there is plenty there to keen an Alpha fan happy.
It's a pity the stun gun and comlocknwqs not made like the ones in this video lots of people very disappointed at the cheap plastic and poor finish of these
Ok
コムロック、一寸欲しいかも……
What model scale is the sixteen-12 eagle transporter?
Hi, This is tricky as there appears to be no actual mention of a scale (apart from "studio scale" that just indicated it was the same size as the original model) on their website.
However, the 44" Eagles are said to be 1:24. That would mean the 30cm Eagles are somewhere around 1:90 and the smaller models are 1:192
But that's just our thoughts and not official information.
