-- Sorry I didn't cut-out all the scenes properly. I was afraid that "Arc System Works" would try to remove this video out. I've noticed there were a ton of ost of BlazBlue within CZcams got removed thanks to Arc System's copyright issues. I need it for it to be uncut, so that I could maintain this video up in CZcams under the whole gameplay rule thing.

-- Yep, you heard me right. Can't find any sub, while it was already announce by the creator's themselves. Though I'll be uploading future all cut scenes from older Blazblue games, both either in English Dub, English Sub, Japanese solely videos. Be sure to subscribe you wanna see on the later updates of it :D
* Forced myself having my own subs in the game
-- I have to make my own subs within the cut-scenes since the only thing I could record was the gallery portion, which the gallery has no subs for the cut-scenes sadly. Took me hours just to place my own subs within the cut scenes throughout the game, since PS4 can't record anything within the story mode of the game due to PS4's HDCP. Luckily I can record all the cut scenes within the gallery. Still saving up a few cash for me to buy that recording device that would allow me to record the whole gameplay of Blazblue. I was planning to setup a whole gameplay of Blazblue, that you could select some of the options as if you were playing the game itself.
-- Everything within the subs on this video, has the same lines on the subs in Blazblue story mode. There are some lines that I've changed them which I dim was wrong.
Ragna is the only one that can make Rachel cry.
And she doesn't even know why.

Ya'll crying over Ragna and I'm here looking at Ragna's sword wondering how indestructible the damn thing is that using it in a fight against an God of War and wiping it's origins from existence doesn't remove the damn thing from the universe.
Right? The fact that it even still exists is beyond a miracle, if not a complete defiance of what it means to be impossible.
@@0ctopusComp1etely technically he didn't erased his existence. He erased the memories of himself that everyone had and just remained with the amaterasu unit. Probably amane just brought back his sword or something.

@@jayfirson13 not exactly. He more or less became the concept of "possibility" itself (which is a key theme in BlazBlue). He returned everyone's desires that he absorbed back into the Blue deep in the Boundary and left with Amaterasu into parts unknown. The true fate of Ragna is ambiguous at this point.

It appears that he may still be alive. When Rachel leaves, after the fade to black, his sword is gone. Just because nobody remembers him does not neccesarily mean he doesn't exist
@brendansage6876 Yeah a *lot* of people misunderstood that. Ragna hasn't literally vanished. He's literally become the world itself. So he doesn't exist as "individual" rather than not at all
How ironic. The game starts off with ragna having no memories of himself and ends it with removing himself from everyone's memories.

All Tsubaki have is Ookami blade , which isnt a part of Susanoo.

UPD: It is also possible that this is another Tsubaki.
Possibly from XBlaze or some other timeline.
So, let me synopsis this one.
Lambda and Noel became nun in Celica's church and the rebuilding is underway.
Kagura has been promoted and has returned to Ikaruga, along with Jin who is also promoted from his status as Captain.
Bang Shishigami continued to help his fellow ninjas to rebuild Ikaruga to restore from its former glory.
Even though Amane Nishiki still the leader of the travelling performers, he remembers his role as the new Observer.
Although Relius Clover has gone to the Cauldron, Karl Clover became his successor, and his sister never regain her human body again.
Platinum accepted the job as doctor alongside Mai and Kajun. With Jubei watches over them.
Taokaka returns to Kaka Village, and her little sisters welcomed her back. Torakaka follows.
Bullet and her Captain, Tager, working under the same person: Kokonoe.
Kokonoe is busy as always, but one thing she won't ignore: Azrael. After Azrael brought back to his ice prison, she made sure no one can free him again.
Naoto Kurogane once again warped into a place he doesn't know however was found by the person he was waiting long to see, Raquel Alucard.
Waiting for his master to return, he keep serving tea to Rachel Alucard as if she was there, alongside Nago and Gii who are also waiting for her return.
Haruko Yuki -Nu in coma
-Arakune dissappeard
-Tsubaki and Makoto still works for the Librarium
-Celica "Died"
-The heroes (except Valk and Jubei) went to the boundary

Lantis 34 Perhaps it might be a new story and protagonist, set in the same world but take place years later. At that time NOL was reformed, some parts of the world destroyed by the war are rebuilt and some of the characters are still present.
Also my guess is that a new conflict of the Azure arises and the new protagonist in which is a military academy student got caught in it. I also thought of him or her having an affinity to the Azure went on a journey to protect the world's possibilities.
Ragna might be an important character in the new saga as he was partly the Azure himself. He might likely have a character redesign but didn't age due to his position.

He is still alive though, but no one knows him. Its not his existance he sacrificed It is other memories of him so he is pretty much dead but alive.

Ragna the Bloodedge. The hero that world needed... but didn't deserve.
As confusing and convoluted as BB story is, they still managed to be one of the best stories on fighting game genre. Ignoring the fact that it was told with text over drawings, BB truly deserves a high quality movie series to tell this amazing story cinematically.
I'm hoping for an anime reboot but done right and not skimmed over like alter memory
blazblue, the first anime that make me cry. I cant believe ragna , the one that suffer the most, get beat up multiple times by the whole world and he choose to die for it. in the end he die heroically just to save everyone even though most of them dont deserve it, and doesnt even let everybody know who he is. ragna best protagonist ftw

Also, the entire Blazblue series was a riddle. That riddle is: What makes a monster and what makes a hero? This riddle focuses on Ragna the Bloodedge & Yuuki Terumi. The "monster" was Yuuki Terumi who was labeled as a 'hero', one of the Six Heroes who defeated the Black Beast, but in reality, Terumi murdered people and manipulated them for his own pleasure. The REAL "hero" was Ragna the Bloodedge who was labeled as a "monster", The Black Beast, but in reality, Ragna helped save the world countless times by defeating Terumi and Hades Izanami.

Considering that there are people like Naoto and Touya, chances are that Ragna was never the Black Beast that destroyed the world to begin with, just a key ingredient because he possesed a copy of the Azure Grimoire. In fact, it's said that Ragna managed to separate from Nu before she completely fused with him while falling from the cauldron. Maybe she became the Black Beast by finding either Naoto or Touya to fuse with when they fall on the previous century...
@@1erickf50 Nah, the Black Beast that destroyed the world was Ragna. In phase shift is Nu that he has to fight over a year when the Beast devours him, confirming that the Black Beast is the result of fusing Ragna (the body) with Nu (the heart). Hakumen also says that it is indeed Ragna

...What if Nu awakens and somehow gains a new power along with Ragna's sword while making her grow boobs...
...And kills Jin in the process of looking for Ragna...
...Which leads to Tsubaki to use the Izayoi once more in Apocalypse Mode (Apocalypse is also a nickname for Alpha-1) and getting destroyed...
...Which leads to her resorting to Hakumen's Susanoo Unit to try to prevent Jin's death...

They did left some sequel bait hooks, so it's just a question of when they decide to continue Blazblue.
So basically Ragna just Persona 3'd himself. He sacrificed himself for the world like Minato did in Persona 3, and now Rachel is going to look for him like Elizabeth is looking to find a way to save Minato.

helmiboboy You don't know that for sure. Maybe with all that corruption thing going onto him at the end he lost his human form and is now a writhing tentacly darkness door. It'd explain why he left behind the sword. He knpws the door slam meta is in and the sword era is over.
Blazblue Cross Battle can have a sequel alike story about Amane talking to Rachel that the Unit its damaged and the universes are collapsed and the only way to fix Blazblue's one is to find Ragna and bring him back.
Damn don't regret playing & loving Blazblue over the years. It ended right.

To super summarize all of Blazblue's plot: "Humanity is tempted by Satan to destroy the world with technology, endure Purgatory, and be reborn." There you go.
BlazBlue plot: Ragna can't catch a fucking break.
So.....let's take a look at the events that transpired here, shall we:
- Ragna erased himself out of existance, wiping everyone's memories about him as well. Neither Rachel, Jin, Tsubaki, Kagura, Kokonoe, Noel, Lambda or Nu (who, somehow, ended up in a comatose state) remember him, save for Amane.
- Tsubaki now walks the path of Hakumen. Tsubakumen, anybody?
- Terumi, Nine and Hakumen (A.K.A Alternate timeline Jin) are, finally, dead
- With Relius out of the picture (apparently, he didn't like this future, so he went "Fuck everything" and jumped into a Cauldron, alongside Hazama), Carl will soon be following his father's footsteps and become the next mad scientist, complete with cold gaze and little regard for life.
- Celica has returned to her grave, becoming nonexistant once again (She was a Chronophantasma, so she was destined to die)
Well, there's two Tsubakis, the one in the NOL and Tsubakumen who is apparently is the "Justice" person Naoto mentioned

for me Nu is a really interesting character especially her personality when the starts off with Nu being so emotionless as sh slash her enemies would be a interesting start to the game
@@mr.jokermaker4539 absolutely! And think about it, it would be amazing if they use her as the new protagonist, after all, ragna and nu were conected because of the black beast! Its only logical to continue the journey but with her perspective! And for the new/next saga they could start with Nu travelling the world with Ragna sword(since it desapeared I bet somehow it is something to do with Nu) trying to find/remember him, and at the same time having a personality crysis, since the murakumo somehow are fragments of saya but currently Saya = Noel(or at least I think it is, sometimes the story is really confusing lol)
And that personality crysis would be Nu trying to show to herself that she loves Ragna because she wants to, because she has her own self, and that could be the trigger to cause a disturbance in their dimension/timeline and start the new plot.

blazblue came with a huge lesson of life, for me...
"to help everyone, no matter how much ingratitude the world will be give back... to never give up, no matter how impossible the things looks to be."
in the end, do the right is the right, no matter if everyone will forget everything.
this story, reminds a lot my own life, ragna is for sure the most similar character with me, this grumpy type, his depth, the personality, even the birth date is very close with my birth date. sometimes seems like someone put a camera and watched me for years, to create a story based in someone and take some inspiration (would be funny, but is not a bad idea haha) ...well, and the result... he helped everyone, but in the end, no one can remember who is him or if he has existed. this story is a fantasy, but the root is much more real than many can expect.
no matter if people not remember what we do, if we do the right, that is all we need.
i remember when my best friend said "look, someone made you as a character" when he played blazblue for the first time, yeh... he was right, expect by the fact my coat is not red, but black, and my hair is not white and i not have a giant sword and some powers :v but my friend was right.
i'm trying to be funny, but i'm crying like a child, because this entire story got me much more than you believe.
Yeah, that part of Ragna's story really gets to me too. It takes a lot of strength of character to do what Ragna did. Especially when the world hates you and calls you a devil. What a guy.
True this is why religion and anime and my family saved my life too much western media is leaning towards how much the world sucks and why it sucks forever that’s we need more stories like blazblue about worlds that do suck but the hero overpowers and over comes the challenge to truly make a better world
We live in the society, summarizes enough why fiction to be sought
And thus, my man, the greatest BB character of all times is gone from history. At least a The Answer won't happen since Ragna's gone from the memories of the world. I'm hoping for more Naoto though I liked him a lot more, he's the best successor to The Spectacles of Eros and is my favorite Girl Game Guy so maybe that's why Ragna's sword disappeared, it warped along with Naoto who is the Ragna of another universe so it would make some sense, this also means that the characters forgot Naoto by extension.
For those who don't know BlazBlue isn't over Just Ragna's time as protagonist.

Tsubaki taking up the Hakumen mantle is such a cool idea. I can't wait to see what her new design will look like.

I think there's a lot of differences, P3 protagonist had a bond with the team and many people, also he couldn't have go to college or choose a life, in the case of Ragna, he was good as a different way with the other characters, but in any case ragna was always cursed by the black beast... this was a good ending for him I believe
The last questions is... Will Rachel able to found her hope again?
Will she able to found it when she not even remember who he is or what he look like?
This has been a truly special journey. I believe no other fighting game's story impacted me so much as this has. It was truly a beautiful story that, though leaving some paths open, like Carl, Relius or maybe even something to do with Rachel and Tsubaki's "Justice" version, I think this is a perfect cosing of Ragna's story. And a beautiful one at that.

Izanami 17275 He isn't really dead just that he cease to exist because as long as he exist the same story will keep repeating but the possibility of him being able to exist without the story repeating itself is there and that's the "possibility" she's counting on as I recall
I think that's where Naoto comes into play, right? He's the "Other" Bloodedge. I mean, we did see a older Rachel.

I can't remember the exact relation between Rachel and Raquel but Naoto and Ragna are just very similar existences to the point where Ragna was being erased cause of Naoto
[Spoiler] Ragna wasn't really being erased, his existence was just being threatened of being erased by Naoto. In the epilogue, Naoto is brought back into his own world (Bloodedge Experience) and he meets up with his vampire master, Raquel (that world's so to say version of Rachel).
Thrunis FeelGood Hayle So there's a possibility and chance for Ragna to have a second chance of having a normal life again is possible but i guess the chances of that happening is very slim i suppose.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Smash Ultimate beat BBCF, you know why? Because Smash Ultimate added Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Therefore, Smash Ultimate is still the most emotional fighting game ever.

In my case I'm grateful that he didn't became into the Black Beast or be Killed by Tsubaki
Is kind of depressing that Ragna never could find peace and that everybody got their peace by just him not existing or fading aways from the everybody's memories.

And is also kind of implied that he now watches the world as the white bird that rests in his grave and that Alternative Dark War (the Mobile game) he still watches the world that now lives without him.

it already kind of explained in the game that Ragna is the black beast, He will bring the end to world no matter how the story goes as long he exist.

What about Carl? He's the only character that didn't have any sort of closure on his story... I could really see him becoming the villain in the next blazblue game (if there is one)
Considering how wrapped his mind is due to the conflict, i'm not surprised if Carl attempts to obtain the Blue but at the same time, endangering Ragna within it and the posibilities he had uses to replace the ameterasu's core.
I do thought of Ragna's reappearance as the Man of the Blue with different style clothing (more modern concept but retain the colors). I even thought of Ragna mantaining his human self within the blue field lying/sleeping in an imaginary flower field, the concept of his life purpose and coming in terms of his true destiny and at peace. Eventually he sensed a major disturbance, which was attempts to repeat the tradegy, evidenced by the flowers.

I have noticed: Every Blazblue story mode (Except Calamity Trigger) ends with Ragna, Jin, & Noel being together.
Tsubaki/Hakumen having long red hair just makes me think of Justice now.
Now that you mention it - Izayoi was all about spouting "justice" everytime she encounters an enemy.

Also the relationship between Naoto and Raquel pretty much spells out how Ragna and Rachel would have ended up if their lives were just slightly bit more normal. Maybe one day we'll get some sort of closure on their ending.
GekkanShounen it's the end of Ragna's arc but the ship will never be removed. It may be saddening but this could probably make good material for fanfic like someone makes a great what if where Rachel remembers everything

The original soul inhabiting the Susano'o unit (That being the Jin from the first time loop) was destroyed by Terumi when he reclaimed it. During Naoto's arcade run he encounters Hakumen and mistakes him for an "Ally of Justice", Hakumen not being from Naoto's timeline obviously has no idea what he's talking about and writes him off as an idiot. While nothing is explicitly confirmed: it's likely that the Tsubaki in this scene is the one from Naoto's timeline as we know that the Tsubaki from this timeline is still an NOL officer.

Brandon McDaniel Serving in the NOL, presumably as a retainer or whatever equivalent the NOL has to the Imperator: Homura. He was only inhabiting the Susano'o unit temporarily.
Will Powers Technically no: Ragna still "exists" in the sense that he is an entity within the BlazBlue universe but also doesn't in the sense that there is no trace of him left in the world after he devoured everyone's memories of him. He exists as the core of the Amaterasu Unit but nobody knows that since said unit exists within the Boundary and not the material plane.
I assume you're talking about Naoto Kurogane. His powers aren't exactly similar to Ragna's either even though his existence is stated to be so. While their fighting styles are similar the powers that act as an extension of them are not. Naoto uses his own blood as weapon while Ragna uses the power of the Azure to drain the life force of his opponents and add it to his own.

I think it would be cool to see Ragna again in some form, I think it could cheapen his "death" but i'd like to think he's resting with Saya by his side, observing the world of those he loves, of those he cherished, Though his existence is gone, there still seems to be at least one person who remembers a memory of "him"
perhaps this is sentimental, perhaps him coming back would sully his sacrifice, but one thing is for certain, Rachel is a woman on a mission to bring back her precious "possibility" and i'm sure she'll find a way somehow, until then, he'll be watching over her and everyone else, at the future they created with their own hands.

It would be funny if Ragna gets his hands on the Susano'o unit, enters it in order to contain his power and then goes to see how's the world doing and maybe take Es with him. Imagine Ragna going on "walks".
Assuming the sequel series to BlazBlue is 4 games as well, what I’d do is that at the end of game 3, a mysterious, blonde haired young man shows up carrying Ragna’s sword in a scabbard, with the camera focusing on the hilt. And during the story of game 4, it is eventually revealed that he is Ragna’s reincarnation, having no memory of his past life, but picked up the sword due to it feeling familiar somehow. And only Rachel (maybe some others too) would eventually remember.

Mori has only stated that his NEXT project won't be BlazBlue related and Central Fiction was only ever specified to be the end of Ragna's story. With that in mind: the series isn't done, just on hold for the time being.
