You need square deadzones on your controller. Hold L2/LT/Front Brake, Hold Forward Diagonally, Spam hop. When you want to change directions, switch to the other forward diagonal then hop. If you need help setting up square deadzones on your controller join our Discord and we'll help you.

tbh i thought they nerfed this bike movement thats why i haven't tried it since ps3
They nerfed it when PS4 version first came out, but they reverted the changes 6 months later after stunters petitioned them.
When they added the Inductor, they broke the physics for all Cycles class vehicles, you can see a video on EV_Cartman's channel about the original bug. In the Mercenaries update they attempted to fix the bug, but inadvertently buffed certain aspects of the physics and nerfed other aspects by adding an additional force that pulls the BMX towards the characters head. It's a great change for PVP and mobility, you can bunny hop way higher, but it also ruined 10 years of custom BMX skill races and nerfed some of the technical tricks you could do on the original physics.
