Overview of Cisco DNA Center

Cisco DNA Center is a topic that appears on the newly announced CCNA 200-301 exam (to be released Feb. 24, 2020). At the time of this recording, Cisco's DevNet Sandbox makes a couple of Cisco DNA Servers available for you to explore for free (without needing to set up a VPN connection). One server gives you read-write access, while the other gives you read-only access. Below are the links and login credentials:

One question, can you track non-cisco devices like UP status through a ping? Let's say I want to monitor the status of a bunch of switchs non-cisco. Can I use DNA center's programability to check on those nodes every 5 minutes and if a ping replies show an OK status?

DNA Center looks to be a conglomeration of Cisco Prime Infrastructure and APIC-EM.
