It wasn't legal to drive imported cars younger than 20 years old in the US because of bs protectionism of their own car manufacturing and Nissan didn't make these in the US.
So all of them had to be imported, but couldn't be driven on roads.
Apparently this game can look clean. Those cell shaded graphics look interesting, but aren't executed well enough to have a style - usually it looks like they threw everything and the kitchen sink at the wall and checked what sticks.

what and how did you set up the steering wheel for the game I completed 3 parts of nfs but only in one the steering wheel worked fine, this is in nfs 2015 and payback like unbound in them the steering wheel was as if it had zero sensitivity set, the cars didn’t want to turn at all
A decent game but tbh had I known its got asap rocky as a main character I would have never bought it. It's the only one I never finished as well.
