But the world was such a very large place. The monster split in two, and went on separate journeys. One went east. The other headed west. The one who went east came upon a village. There was a blacksmith who lived at the village's entrance. "Mr. Blacksmith, please give me your name!" said the monster. "I can't give you my name!" replied the blacksmith. 'If you give me your name, I'll go inside you and make you strong," said the monster. "Really?" said the blacksmith, "If you make me stronger, I'll give you my name." The monster went into the blacksmith. And so, the monster became Otto the blacksmith. Otto was the strongest man in town. But then one day he said, "Look at me! Look at me! The monster inside of me is getting bigger!" Munch munch, chomp chomp, gobble gobble, gulp. The hungry monster ate up Otto from the inside out. Once again, he was a monster without a name. Next, he went into Hans the shoemaker. However... Munch munch, chomp chomp, gobble gobble, gulp. Once again, he went back to being a monster without a name. Then, he became Thomas the hunter. But soon... Munch munch, chomp chomp, gobble gobble, gulp. Back he went to being a monster without a name. The monster next went to a castle to look for a nice name. He came upon a very sick boy who lived in that castle. "If you give me your name, I'll make you strong," said the monster. The boy replied, "If you can make me healthy and strong, I will give you my name!" So the monster jumped right into the boy. And the boy became full of vigor. The king was overjoyed. He announced, "The prince is healthy! The prince is strong!" The monster became quite fond of the boy's name. He was also quite pleased with his royal life in the castle. So he controlled himself no matter how ravenous his appetite became. Day after day, despite his growing hunger, the monster stayed put inside the boy. But finally, the hunger just became too great... "Look at me! Look at me!" said the boy, "The monster inside of me has gotten this big!" The boy devoured the king and all his servants. Munch munch, chomp chomp, gobble gobble, gulp. The castle was lonely now with everyone gone, so the boy left on a journey. He walked and walked for days. And then one day, the boy came upon the monster who had gone west. "I have a name!" said the boy, "And it's such a wonderful one at that!" But the monster who went west replied, "Who needs a name? I'm perfectly happy without one. After all, that's what we are - nameless monsters." The boy ate up the monster who went west. At last he had found a name, but there was no longer anyone to call him by it. Such a shame, because Johan was such a wonderful name.

"Really?" said the blacksmith, "If you make me stronger, I'll give you my name."
The monster went into the blacksmith.
And so, the monster became Otto the blacksmith.
Otto was the strongest man in town.
But then one day he said, "Look at me! Look at me! The monster inside of me is getting bigger!"
Munch munch, chomp chomp, gobble gobble, gulp.
The boy replied, "If you can make me healthy and strong, I will give you my name!"
So the monster jumped right into the boy.
And the boy became full of vigor.
The king was overjoyed.
He announced, "The prince is healthy! The prince is strong!"
The monster became quite fond of the boy's name.
He was also quite pleased with his royal life in the castle.
So he controlled himself no matter how ravenous his appetite became.
Day after day, despite his growing hunger, the monster stayed put inside the boy.
But finally, the hunger just became too great...
"Look at me! Look at me!" said the boy, "The monster inside of me has gotten this big!"
The boy devoured the king and all his servants.
Munch munch, chomp chomp, gobble gobble, gulp.
The castle was lonely now with everyone gone, so the boy left on a journey.
He walked and walked for days.
And then one day, the boy came upon the monster who had gone west.
"I have a name!" said the boy, "And it's such a wonderful one at that!"
But the monster who went west replied, "Who needs a name? I'm perfectly happy without one. After all, that's what we are - nameless monsters."
The boy ate up the monster who went west.
At last he had found a name, but there was no longer anyone to call him by it.
Such a shame, because Johan was such a wonderful name.
I don't care if it's broken. Johan is a serial killer who takes pleasure in ruining people's lives, killing even children and babies without feeling any emotion. No matter how much I love him, his past cannot be an excuse for his sins.
Evil or good doesn't exist we all going to die
@@jesseangreen9613he says in the end of our lives whether the person is good or bad he is just going to die like any other humans do
Johan Actually doesn't care about murder He just does it He doesn't Feel anything doing it He just does it
@@noahzachariaswoh tenma what happened howd you become so nihilistic
@@JacobLondonAnderson-ut6jmmostly true but he does smile when killing richard
pure evil : Roberto
He had a good side at first though...
no hes not pure evil he used to be good when he was a kid he lost all of his memories he doesnt remember anything and Johan gave him a purpose in life and now he works for johan so its means that hes Influenced/Broken
Oingo Boingo fan? Based@@nuclearcatbaby1131
Nope. But I still hate him
The last one my bros name
No, Lunge is broken and Johan is PURE EVIL that was the point of the series (although we cannot say that someone is good or bad... People are always mixed)
johan is broken because of bonaparta who is the truly evil person
Lunge broken?
he's just a guy obsessed with his work but who gave importance to his grandson in the end, there's nothing broken.
@@niquezvosmereslesfakes lunge is good, he did what he thought was the right thing he had no evil intention he just made a mistake on assuming tenma was the monster
@@irtiza4262
I didn't say he was broken or evil lol
@@niquezvosmereslesfakes he's a good person.
Richard D. Braun was so underrated.
Franz is pure evil
Do part 2
Eva isn't broken. Shes definitely evil
At the start she was just dumb/influenced by her horroble father than she got evil because the whole tenma thing broke her and after that she became good
@@louisvau4132 she was evil before that. She manipulated and used Tenma the same way she manipulated and used dozens of other men before that (if her boasting about it is to be believed)
Eva, like Johan, is an evil person who simply ended up living the rest of their lives in peace after the whole ordeal, with a slight hope of redemption.
Lunge is in a similar position. He didn't reconcile with his daughter, but they are in touch via email.
@@snakey934Snakeybakey
but Lunge did not manipulate his daughter unlike Eva who manipulates her husband. Lunge manipulated no one, he just preferred to choose his job rather than spend time with a wife who literally cheated on him + with a daughter who agrees with her mother's actions (Lunge's wife says that 'she had another husband in the anime)
@@niquezvosmereslesfakes very true
I was so sad to realize that Roberto and Grimme were friends
Humans can be anything
Johan is pure evil
forgot to add Franz Bonaparta, if Johan was the monster, then he is the devil.
My respect for Mr.grimmer ❤
Grimmer is super broken
Lunge is just obsessed with his job to an unhealthy degree lol
A PERSON WHEN BORN IN ALWAYS A GOOD PERSON BUT THE WORLD BROKE THAT PERSON AND SOMETIME IT CAN MAKE THAT PERSON LIKE EVA (TOTALLY BROKEN) OR PURE EVEIL LIKE JOHAN
especially Johan, who was born evil, and he doesn't even try to change, or try to demonstrate something that truly shows that in his darkness, he has even something good.
johan:60% broken, 40%pure evil or 50/50.
Johan was purely evil from the very start
I love grimmer man
Johan is broken
or that what he wants us to think 🗿🍷
I'd like to think that he is the most rational-thinking human, like a Machiavellian perspective. Doing any thing whatever it costs to achieve a certain goal
Nah he cannot manipulate us in this case. He is both broken and pure evil.
In the end he said to tenma that the reason he did all this was because of his mother's descision to keep him and leave nina behind i think.
@@drawer..that's such a dumb reason
Broken to the point he became a monster
