THE ARM JOINTS HELLO?? 😭 I really hope that won’t be a huge issue because the pegs look like they’re turning white and about to snap off..
I still don’t think she is worth ~$75 after factoring shipping and tax but I still bought her because I can really appreciate brand new sculpts like this. The head mold is great, love the hands too. I also like the unique stand.

G3 lagoona would probably try to eat Gill Girl, while G1 Lagoona would probably get attacked by her. Gill Girl is quite unique due to all that body sculpting instead of just clothing, the only other one would be Greta which is the best along with Pennywise

The lagoon in the creature from the black lagoon was actually the saltwater variety! The beginning of the movie also shows its footprints near the ocean, and in the sequels when he flees from his captors he goes to the ocean. So she COULD be Lagoona’s mom hypothetically.

OK, so I do not think she would be Lagoonas mom because I’m pretty sure Lagoona is a deep sea creature and the creature has a weird history bring a Ocesn creature who moved to fresh but it is fun to think of her as family! long lost green cousin haha
also Frankie’s parents can’t be Frankensteins Monster or the Bride, all three were created by the scientist Frankenstein so if anything they’re siblings!
victor frankenstein is her grandfather in the movies so the monster and the bride are her parents and i thinkkkk victor made her as a child to his creation
Lagoona was actually originally named Lagoona black so maybe her Orginal intent was to be more based off of the creature.
I like to see GillGhoul as Lagoona's fun aunt, she gives her love advice and tells her to ditch Gil all the time :p
In the movie, they call the creature Gillman, so maybe Gillma? Gilla? Thanks for sharing! So excited for mine to get here!💚

Actually, when Mattel was creating Lagoona, she was supposed to be creature´s from black lagoon child and she was meant to be green, but they had to change it, because Frankie was already green and to green characters in basic line was too much😊

I just can't with mattels prices though! I'll never not complain but I just can't justify spending more than $50 on a doll that is the same quality as the play line doll! And no waiting for a sale for these "limited exclusive" dolls sadly

i wish i had ordered two, but i was very lucky to of had the chance to get one as soon as she dropped, so excited to see how she is in person since i dont think videos or pictures online do her justice! i really want to see if she has issues with her arms now that ive seen yours, and im on the fence about whether or not to take her out of the box since i only have the one

the arms on mine were the same ! like turning them i felt like the peg wasn’t moving at all and they could just snap off, i boiled them and removed them just to see whats going on and couldn’t see the problem. but def scared 😨
Yes my had some issue with arms I was afraid it would break I tried taking it out cause I wanted to see her body. She has the Jinafire body btw. So not just yours
$65 does feel like a bit much but otherwise she's beautiful and I love the box

I bought two of her and they both have the arm issue, I am surprised most people have not mentioned it in there reviews. Plus I tried to resituated one of her arms and the peg is distressed now, you can tell cause the plastic is lighter than the color of the plastic. I tried putting her arm back together and the socket is really tight... I am scared to break her arm... I actually contacted Mattel about this, hopefully they will say something. But I can't even twist the arms on mine cause that peg is so snug in her arm... It's the most annoying thing for me with this doll. She is stunning but I'm kinda sad because of the arms 😢

Can someone tell me. I joined the Mattel creations to buy the doll on member day- I went on line, it said sold out. So next day for public to buy- sold out. No information to reserve a doll in future. Is this it? Are they gone?? My husband wanted to buy her for my birthday. Im in shock the site doesn't give any other information. So sad....I don't mind waiting. But I can't pay the exaggerated prices already on reseller sites.
Yeah they're gone. The public sale was Friday. The fang club sale was Thursday and lasted like 3 min. Only way to get them is thru reseller
